Oh where do I start? This toy requires three AA batteries and the point of the toy is to create "delicious" smores. I thought it would heat up to melt marshmallows or something like that. I put the batteries in and read the 9 step directions. First you must mix the graham cracker crumbs with water (packet 1). Smelled like stale graham crackers and coconut yuckiness. Then you form the 1" by 1" crackers in a plastic tray by pushing them down into the little square indentations in the tray with your finger. Ok. Then microwave the tray for 10 seconds, wait a minute, flip them over, nuke it again for another 10 seconds, let them cool, set aside. Good grief. Then you are instructed to mix up the "chocolate" (and I use the term loosely) powder with water and do the same with the marshmallow goo powder (which was the worst smelling stuff of all). Alrighty! Now you must somehow load the chocolate goo into one tiny plastic square inside the little flame thingy and the marshmallow goo in another square next to the chocolate, though the tray they have you use is connected and this doesn't work very well. Now I'm getting excited. We are finally gonna make smores!!!! I am instructed to put a little graham cracker on the spatula thing and put both in the "fire". Here we go! A flickering light comes on. No heat. That's it! Just when I think it can't get worse, the directions have me "carefully" push the marshmallow button on the flame thingy, which causes a small dribble of marshmallow goo to plop down on the gross little grahm cracker waiting below. Repeat with the chocolate side. Remove from the "flame", add another little graham cracker to make a cold, goo sandwich and enjoy! My son actually ate most of one and then sweetly asked me if I'd like to try a bite. In the interest of science I took a tiny bite, pretended it was good, then spit it out when he wasn't looking.I then attempted to clean the flame thing out. Took the top off to find chocolate and marshmallow goo all over the inside, and just try to clean it without getting water in the battery section.I went to the cubbord, pulled out the three ingredients needed to make real smores and made some for my son. He adreed that they were much better than the toy version and we decided to toss this mess of a toy in the trash. I've never thrown a toy away so quicky, but this one had nothing going for it. Save your money and just make smores yourself!

The s'more tasted terrible, like it had already been chewed up
There are a lot of steps to creating the s'mores. The s'more tasted terrible, like it had already been chewed up. You had to use the microwave, which defeated the purpose of the s'more maker. In addition, it would be very hard to clean if you just wanted to make one s'more at a time. HUGE waste of money. We made 1 s'more and threw the whole kit away.

Waste of money, horrible taste.
I buy all the yummy nummies for my 6 year old and she's mastered them all. This one... she threw away immediately upon making. She said it was the most disgusting yummy nummy she had ever finished.

Not worth it.
I can think of so many other ways to make S'Mores without creating the hassle and mess that this one toy created. It comes with enough product to maybe make 4 teeny tiny s'mores - and you still need to use the microwave to do it! My 5 year old was interested for about 3 minutes until he decided that he prefers the kind that we make in the microwave (which is also done sooner)!

S’Mores at the Worst!!
This product is a definite fail!!! Biggest disappointment ever for my Grandkiddos and this Grandma! Directions are complicated which should have been my first clue...it doesn’t get better once you complete the lengthy process with an overdone promotional package and useless “playset”...Terrible taste...I didn’t think you could ruin a “S’More but these are absolutely awful with a terrible aftertaste!Do NOT recommend this!! YUMMY NUMMY IS HORRENDOUS!
If I could give this product less than one star I would. I bought this against the reviews because my daughter begged for them for Christmas. TRUST THE STARS! These are the nastiest thing I have ever seen. Total crap. Silly me for thinking they would use real marshmallows, you know the little bitty ones in hot cocoa, or real chocolate, like maybe tiny chocolate chips, or heck even actual graham crackers...but no. It's all a powdered mess you add water to and microwave. TOTAL waste of money. I wish I'd just built a fire in the backyard and given her the real thing.

No Redeeming Qualities
This product has no redeeming qualities. Sure it's no bake, but you still need a microwave to make the S'mores (real ones are also no-bake strictly speaking). The product tastes horrible and takes far to long to make. I feel that there's no reason for this toy to exist.

Honestly be better to make your own s'mores then make this cheaply ...
Honestly be better to make your own s'mores then make this cheaply made contraption . Rated 3 stars because my daughter actually enjoyed making microwaveable graham crackers and overall mixing the chocolate and marshmallows. However the chocolate and marshmallows did not come out as was said..so if you want a soft graham cracker with runny pudding for chocolate and marshmallows as a s'more this is for you.
