I have put these on several key fobs, and have used them for about a month and the black paint is worn off the edges but not terribly. It is to be expected that steel rubbing against steel, or any metal, will wear away paint. The only way to get black key rings that will stay black even under use would be to get PVD coated ones, but that means you'd be paying a dollar per ring most likely. For the price, these are great.

Used this for the 40 plus key fobs. It makes it easier to add them to the main vehicle key chains. The smaller size makes them perfect for my needs without adding unnecessary bulk. These are sturdy small keyrings (1" inch) that look good and appear to be nicely machined. These have been handy for other uses as well. I would not hesitate to purchase more as needed.

I was hoping these weren't just painted black, and they aren't. Very durable color and being flat sided add some rigidity to your keys. Very good price and nice to have on hand if you own a 3D printer ... I make a lot of keychains for people .. and they're requested. (don't have to advertise)

I am a maintenance tech and have a lot of keys to manage. I have keys made all the time and the rings they give you are less then ideal, having several keys on a ring when it breaks is daunting to say the least. I went in search for rings that I can buy in abundance that are strong enough for the task and I've been caught in a few situations with these rings where my key's get caught on unanimous objects from door knobs to tree bushes and these are strong enough to take the force without bending out of shape. On a personal note this key ring is only large enough to hold five keys comfortably with that being said I would definitely buy these rings again when needed

We were looking for something to attach our outdoor sheers to the track system we had installed. With the small size of the glides and the loops in the sheers, these keyrings were the perfect answer. The powder coating on them are the perfect deterrent to rusting and corrosion.
