I have used one of these Wilson antenna springs in the past, so I did not hesitate to purchase another. The chrome finish is excellent; the older one I have has never developed any signs of rust. In my opinion these are not HD as advertised, though. The old one, coupled with a 4' Firestick antenna, did develop a slight "memory" over the years, causing my new ham setup to lean to the right side so I could not use it this time. Perfectly natural, though. If you need a HD spring I suggest a barrel type.I am using the new spring set upon a Breedlove foldover coupler to support the 22" 3/8" mast my Comet CSB770A is affixed to. It is performing just as I had hoped. I think these should include a SS lock washer, which they currently don't. I had to go buy one.I paid $13.99 which included a 7% discount. A little pricey in my opinion but, not too terribly so. The packaging is a bit flimsy. As others have stated the spring had busted out of the plastic covering that holds it to the cardboard backing. No biggee.I would recommend this product.

A very strong spring. Some reviews say its weak well the one I got is not. 5ft fiberglass antenna on this spring and it takes force to bend it or hitting something. Not going to sag on it's own like some claim. Bought it for my atv. Will see how it helps with tree whacking.EDIT: after a weekend out on atv and wacking many a tree bending to almost 90 degrees a few times. Bounces right back without flopping about and no damage to fiberglass antenna at all. Well worth the money.

I ordered the wrong item, but surprise surprise... I found another use for it!No complaints whatsoever.

Simple strong SS spring. Not to stiff and not to springy.
