The binding of this book is gorgeous. Yes the gold blocking can be a bit mis-aligned, but not to bad. So nine out of ten for the binding.Now we move inside...ugghh! Blown text throughout. Yes it is readable but totally destroys the joy of the binding.I own a paperback of this book and it is 100% superior.Such a shame as I was dying to love this leather bound lovely, but alas no.

Wow! This book is a priceless treasure. Not only does it give practical insight for business, but it truly encompasses the most meaningful things in this lifetime. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking meaning, inspiration, and substantial insight for the home and business.

This is a excellent book for who is seeking for a security way of life. It,s not about miracles but instead a meeting with yourself.

Bei dem eBook “Rosicrucian Principles for the Home and Business“ von Harvey Spencer Lewis, der im Jahr 1915 die amerikanische AMORC-Filiale gegründet hat, handelt es sich um eine moderne Neuauflage des Buches aus dem Jahr 1929. Für meine Rezension erhielt ich das Buch kostenlos. Erst einmal fiel mir auf, dass das eBook sehr ordentlich formatiert und korrekturgelesen ist - man merkt, dass die sorgfältige Arbeit eines Verlages dahinter steckt. Es wurde “modernisiert“, d.h. Editor Robin M. Thompson hat veraltete Beispiele aus dem alten Buch durch zeitgemäßere Beispiele ersetzt. Aus diesem Grund liest sich diese eigentlich sehr alte Publikation gut.Autor Lewis war Unternehmensberater. Ein großer Teil seiner Ratschläge hat mehr mit gesundem Menschenverstand als mit Okkultismus zu tun. Hier mischen sich Psychologie, Parapsychologie, Psychosomatik, Philosophie, Religion, Ethik, Moral und Karma-Ideen mit intelligenter Lebensberatung (z.B. für Arbeitslose). Obwohl Philosophien wie „The Law of Attraction“ im Hintergrund eine Rolle spielen, ist Lewis ungeheuer bodenständig und lehnt Ideen, die Rhonda Byrnes mit dem Buch bzw. Film “The Secret“ den Menschen in den Kopf gesetzt hat, rundweg ab. Kein attraction ohne action. Interessanterweise äußert er sich auch negativ über Affirmationen, von denen ich auch nichts Positives zu berichten weiß.Sehr lesenswert fand ich die Abschnitte des Buches, in denen Lewis darauf eingeht, ob (!), wann und wie man beten sollte.Ratschläge für Arbeitnehmer fallen sehr arbeitgeberfreundlich aus - kein Wunder, denn das Buch wurde zum Beginn der Großen Depression veröffentlicht.Alles in allem war das Buch, in dem ich etwa acht Stunden las, interessant sowohl vom Inhalt als auch vom Stil. Allerdings zeigt es auch, dass die Rosenkreuzer auch nur mit Wasser kochen. Trotzdem habe ich dem Buch fünf Sterne gegeben, da man es aufgrund der inhaltlichen Fülle und des hochwertigen Schreibstils zweifellos mehr als einmal lesen kann.Ein am 25.07.2015 vorgesehener Preis von 0,99 Euro ist okay; dies ist das Buch mehr als wert.

Even for those who don't run a business, excellent ideas to live by.Definitely a good read for those wanting to improve their lives.

The title is an accurate description of the contents of this book; it is a discussion on the Rosicrucian principles for home and business. Overall this book is an interesting look at how we may utilize natural laws to optimize our personal and professional lives. A very straightforward and easy read.
