Another outstanding book from Dr. Moody
Dr. Raymond Moody introduced the term ‘Life After Death” in his 1975 book, “Life After Life”. He has spent five decades studying related phenomenon. He has contributed more to thanatology, the science of death related topics than anyone else. In this insightful book he briefly discusses his perspective on God. This is a most interesting topic.

An enjoyable read
Like Dr. Moody's other books, I enjoyed this little book very much. He is not only a logical researcher and scientist, but also a warm, loving, kind human.

Justice and God
I enjoyed your first book. What happened? I hope their is no reincarnation. How could you reunite with your deceased friends and relatives if you are immediately sent off to become another person? If it is true,I hope it is optional. I believe God believes in Justice, but He also believes in free will. He warns us that there will be injustice in this world, but not in the next. A good Christian believes in the Holy Bible and tries to live by It the best he can.He does not flaunt Heaven or Hell. After a person dies, their disposition is strictly up to Jesus Christ, not us.

Good Challenge to know God
This book is a good review of the need to seek God here and now in a personal relationship. Very honest about the frailties of formal religion as a way to find God. Very encouraging about seeking a personal relationship with God. Loved the references to God as a story seeker interweaving all our stories into a beautiful tapestry of life.

An excellent summary of Dr. Moody’s learnings
Although I liked learning about Dr. Moody’s deepest perspectives on God, religion, NDE’s, etc. (and this is the greatest value this book provides), I thought the sections on nonsense were just that - nonsense. Even if we took the time to learn the logic of nonsense, who is to say that it would reasonably match, let alone make us any more likely to understand that which NDEers have described as ineffable? I think God is larger and more incomprehensible than any logical nonsense we could contrive. Just my 2 cents, but overall this book is well worth the read and in spite of my take on the nonsense sections the rest of the book is priceless for liberating people from the traditional paradigms of God, religion, and scripture. It is priceless in that regard.

Yes and no
I agree that God is bigger than the Bible, and much of what we are taught in church is irrelevant or just plain wrong. I do not believe that a God of love would consign anyone to eternal torment no matter how great their sin, and i agree that a personal relationship with God and living in love is more important than following a set of rules. However, I strongly disagree that God is not interested in justice. And I cannot believe that evil does not exist. I even know trustworthy people who claim to have seen demons. To me it is preposterous to think that persons such as Stalin and Hitler would be greeted in the afterlife with a congratulatory "good job". If the NDE reports of a life review are credible, then experiencing the pain inflicted on others would seem to be perfect justice, much moreso than hellfire and brimstone. It is not a matter of revenge or wanting to see anyone suffer. It is for education, to cause them to see that they were wrong, just as discipline for a child is to teach him or her to be good and kind and loving. If God is indeed not interested in justice, then neither should we be, and should just close down the judicial system and let anarchy rule. I would have a hard time relating to a God who was uninterested in justice.

An excellent window into Dr. Raymond Moody’s theology
For those who have benefitted from Dr. Moody’s research, this offers a worthwhile insight into his own theology, and therefore is a volume I would highly recommend.

A key book
Attention RAYmond Moody fans, this is one for you. It’s a short book, about the length of a decent-sized chapter, but the message is important. Moody is validating non-religious modes of spirituality. It’s an outline of his thoughts, really - but very powerful. Ive been studying world religion so for 8 years, I needed this counterweight to what I’ve been studying.
