22 year age gap ⚠️⚠️
There's a lot about the story elements that I really liked. First of all, I like how Serena was written. She seems independent for someone who also relies heavily on her family. She is also very dedicated, driven, and excited about her future. There's a lot about Serena that I think people can identify with.As for Landon, I think the age gap was too much for me (he's 43, she's 21). I get it that when you are a successful attorney, your personal life goes to the back burner. And, you seem to do things later in life. Like relationships, etc. But, Landon went from screwing everything with two legs to suddenly being consumed by a 21-year-old virgin.⚠️ spoilers⚠️I actually think that the dad's speech should have been the end of the relationship. I don't think this should have ended with a happily ever after, but that's just my opinion.I see a lot of myself in this story. I was 19 when I'm at my husband who was 30 at the time. We met in college. Like Serena, I was a virgin, but highly dedicated to my education and to learning. When we got married, I was 21. And I think the age gap at that time was something people worn me against, but that I didn't believe. And now, we've been married for 16 years and I always wonder if this really should have been my life. Where was my Preston to warn me against this? Where was my adult telling me that your life is going to accelerate beyond your wildest imagination, and not in a good way. You're going to be forced to marry, have kids, settle down, way before you should simply because your spouse/partner is in a while different place generationally.

My Favorite Campus Take
Anyone who knows me knows that age-gap stories are my jam. I love them. I read them all, seriously, all of them. So when I found out QB Tyler was writing an age-gap WITH the “fathers best friend” element. I was sold! Take. My. Money!I read it, no I DEVOURED IT and was left speechless.Landon and Serena are more than just taboo sex acts on her dad’s desk, although that scene was HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. They are this beautifully unique and beautifully lost couple. They are both searching for acceptance, Serena from her father, Landon from his son, and somehow they find each other. They are two halves of the same whole, and regardless of age or life experience, they are a perfect match.Serena is young and sheltered, but not naive. Landon is older and jaded, but not broken. Their story is beautiful and Tyler has a way of making you laugh out loud (Serena referring to Landon as an adult). Swoon (Landon wanting to make her first time special), and spontaneously combust (let’s just say Landon likes it down south *wink wink*).Second Semester is my favorite Campus Tale, it might even be my favorite QB Tyler novel! I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

Forbidden Romances are my jam!
Second Semester is the second book in the Campus Tales Series. It's a stand alone novella, but I highly recommened that you read First Semester because you get to see some characters from there in Second Semester!******OH MY GOD! QB TYLER KILLED IT! Absolutely KILLED IT! I fell in love with this story by the first page! I cannot tell you all how much I love forbidden AND age gap romances! SOLD, I was completely sold the minute Tyler released the blurb! And that cover? IT'S ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! It's exactly how I envision Serena!******Serena Mitchell has taken up an intership at her father, Preston Mitchell's, law firm. Though, what she didn't expect was to be attracted to her boss, Landon West. What she didn't expect was a relationship to form, a secret relationship. The last thing she expected was to fall in love.I fell in complete love with Serena! She's innocent, smart, independent, and an all around good girl. She's the total opposite of her sister, Skyler. I found Serena so relatable in many ways. She had a quirkiness about her that I couldn't help but love! And also, I fell in love with her innocence, the way she carried herself, the way she had compassion towards others, and her just being her. That's how you know QB has written such an amazing heroine, the way you're able to connect to her. Now, Landon West... I was totally swooning over him, HARD. Landon West is a man who's trying to figure out how to balance his life around work, a divorce, and a son who he's on the best terms with. I felt for Landon and what he was going through, and even though he didn't handle everything in the best ways, he still tried. He was very well known around the office, and yet, the moment he locked eyes with Serena, he couldn't beliebe the twenty-one year old who was standing in front of him. He didn't know the magnitude of how attracted he'd be to her. He didn't know the extent of how far they would go.He didn't know that he'd fall in love with her.At what lengths will Serena and Landon go to keep this secret hidden from Preston Mitchell? Will they get caught?******I can't tell you how much I loved the progression from the first time they meet and everything else that happened in between. Everytime Serena and Landon came together, you can tell that the feelings they had for each other was present. They may not have said it out loud in many words in the beginning, but it was there. It was loud.It was clear.I cannot wait to see what Tyler has in store for us in her future works! I'm invested deeply into her Campus Tales Series, and I never want out!Five Dreamy Stars: 💫💫💫💫💫

Okay read
Serena is a 21-year old law student interning at her father’s law firm. On her first day, she becomes instantly attracted to her father’s 43-year old business partner.Landon knows he shouldn’t think such heated thoughts about his friend’s daughter. But, hey, he’s 43, not dead. She’s too young, too naïve, too innocent. And Landon just couldn’t help himself. What will they do when her father finds out?Story starts off with some sexy foreplay, then heats up. Landon is a jealous, possessive alpha. I thought this thing between them was more obsession than anything else. How could this really work? I didn’t really buy those two together. The read was okay though.

Really enjoyable !!!
The second book in the campus series and another good story which was once again very well written. I didn't enjoy this book as much as I did the first one but it was still good.Landon has been hurt by his soon to be ex wife, he is going through an unpleasant divorce and is having trouble with his son. Woman fall at this handsome successful mans feet whenever he clicks his fingers, and he is making the most of being nearly single by bedding as many women who fall for his charm and assertiveness. He's a love um and leave um kind of guy since being hurt. Landon is all alpha male who likes to get his own way often and he does.Serena is interning at her fathers and Landon's law firm, when she walks into the office on the first day he is attracted to her straight away, but he is much older than her and he is her fathers best friend so he knows any hanky panky with his friends daughter is strictly off limits.Serena is a clever girl but shy and sheltered by her family, she is the quiet daughter who has always behaved herself; unlike her sister Skyler who we got to read about in book one. When she first see's Landon she gets all the feels for her dads friend, she is so tempted by his flirty manner, although at first innocent, along the way this starts to change to lust that they both can't resist. But will he break Serena's heart like all who came before her ?I enjoyed both characters especially Landon who was a charismatic man with a dirty mouth and a very sexy manner about him. He was very assertive, if not at times a little over the top for me but none the less I did enjoy connecting with him.Serena at first was a little too naive for her age I felt, but as the story progressed she did grow and get stronger and by the end of the book I was cheering her on. A clever smart young lady, you just had that feeling that although shy and reserved, she certainly knew what she wanted and has her head screwed on the right way.All in all a good read, lots of angst and sexy times, and we got to reconnect with Skyler and her family from the first book which was nice.I do love the way QB Tyler writes her stories and her characters and I'm looking forward to the third book in this series.

Taboo romance must read!
Semester Two was a difficult one for me to get into. I have just started reading taboo romances so the age gap and familiarity in this relationship took me by surprise at first. But once I got into the midst of the story, I couldn’t put it down and realised that I LOVE taboo romances. I preferred Semester One but this was enjoyable to read and I could never tell the outcome because of how taboo the relationship is. Also, the spice was on point.

Wohoo! 😘
Another book that I like from Q.B Tyler. The chemistry between Landon and Serena was so hot! I love how everything was fast pace and not much of a conflict, although it was kind of an age gap/taboo romance. ❤️❤️

Such a great read!😍
🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.35 (4.35/5 Stars)“𝐴 𝑠𝑜𝑢𝑙 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤𝑠 𝑛𝑜 𝑎𝑔𝑒, 𝑆𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑎, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑔𝑛𝑖𝑧𝑒𝑑 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑙𝑦.“ - 𝑆𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑆𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑏𝑦 𝑄.𝐵. 𝑇𝑦𝑙𝑒𝑟Second Semester is book 2 in the Campus tales series by the lovely Q.B. Tyler!📚 Second Semester follows the taboo story of Serena and her dad’s best friend/business partner Landon!😜Serena, our heroine grew up in a pretty sheltered household. Her younger sister Skyler was bold, a rule breaker, independent, and constantly stealing the spotlight from her older sister Serena. Which inadvertently caused Serena to grow up more on the quiet and reserved side. Serena was always proper, followed the rules, and strived to prove herself which resulted in her taking an internship at her fathers law firm where she meets the low key man wh*re, her dad’s business partner Landon. Landon is going though a difficult time in his life and has been filling his time with meaningless hookups until he sees his Business partner’s daughter Serena. Serena decides some rules are worth breaking and Landon decides hookups are no longer what he wants... but what happens when their taboo relationship gets out? This book was such a great read! When I first picked up Second Semester I was in a total book slump, but this book pulled me out and got me right back into the reading swing! 🙌🏻You guys know me, I love taboo books and books with age gaps so already this book was SO up my alley 😍 The book was short, sweet, steamy, and had a few unexpected twists along the way that I really enjoyed🙌🏻 The characters were great, I loved how protective the hero was and I loved seeing the heroine push her own limits OHH AND I LOVED getting to see the characters cross over from book one!😆 Skyler (the younger sister) and Serena were hilarious together!Side note - This series is made up of interconnected standalones so you don’t have to read book 1 in order to read books 2 & 3🙌🏻Anyway, If you are in the mood for a short, taboo, age gap Romance I definitely recommend checking this one out!🤩

Scorching and Sweet
I loved First Semester and could only hope Second Semester was just as great a story. Well QB Tyler surpassed my expectations .Landon is going through a divorce with a teenage son who hates him. Serena is an innocent girl wanting to be seen and heard.Together they are smoking hot and like magnets which call to each other. They seem to find what they are searching for within their secretive relationship. Their story is not without drama and obstacles but they don’t give up. If you like reading about Dad’s best friend and age gap taboo stories then definitely give this a go.This was such a wonderful read and I’m certainly looking forward to the next campus tales instalment.
