Safavieh American Homes Collection Tablet Distressed Blue 3 Drawer Chest

I love the company Safavieh and have purchased many of their carpets and rugs as well as well as many baskets and other Decour items. I love the way that this chest looked in the photo and it was just the right size to put at the end of my bed. I intended on storing T-shirts, knitted items, and blue jeans to save room in my closet.Pro: the chest is made of real wood, although it is is the light weight variety such as pine. I also love the fact that it was already put together, that is really the main reason why I purchased it. I am disabled and putting together some drawers and things like that is very tedious for me and sometimes impossible. Another pro is the color I love that just distressed look, and the light color teal. I also love the style it’s old-fashioned enough to go with antiques but also has a modern look to it they can go with other furniture. The only thing you have to do is get it out of the box which took a little doing and put the legs on. Cons: The drawers really have very little much very little room and even though they probably would’ve held the items that I wanted to store and then the drawers do not slide in and out easily. Their only way of going in and out depends on you pulling it out at a very even place, there are no rollers and no metal runners. Since they are wood and I live in a very humid area I believe whether they go in and out easily depends on the weather. Once they are loaded up with clothing it makes it even harder. And since I am disabled and had problems with my hands I decided that they really wouldn’t work but the reason I had bought them. However, I like the style and I really wanted to have an accent cabinet of some sort in our hallway outside of our laundry room since we have very little storage in there. So instead I will be using it in the hallway to store decorative items, candles seasonal decorations, gift bags and gift wrapping, as well as hats mittens and things that we don’t use often here in Texas. Again I think it is a very good deal for the money, but now I know that I need a sturdier chest to actually store clothing.

Really love this sweet little dresser. Great color and fits in with the eclectic furniture in my home. Only thing to improve it would be drawer slides, but I could add them myself. If I were talented. Or energetic.

These bedside or accent tables are a beautiful shade of blue with brushed-antique look -- solid and already assembled. Packaging exceptional. Spacious drawers (wide, not deep). I put one on each side of my bed and they hold a lot (great for undies, socks, bras, tees, pjs, swimwear). Highly recommend for usefulness and decor. I paired with a taupe/grayish- colored wooden bed.

Mine was darker than pictured so I guess it’s a crapshoot as to which color you receive. You definitely must use both hands to slide out the drawers- they don’t slide easily. Using as a nightstand and even though it’s darker than what I wanted/ expected I will keep it.

I needed extra storage and I love that there was almost no assembly required; screwing legs on took a few minutes, I needed it delivered since I had no way to transport. It is adorable and mostly real pine wood. It is a little darker than I wanted, but I’m still happy with it!

The drawers are very shallow. The size is not practical to use as a dresser due to the height and size of the drawers. The price was more than what the dresser is worth. It is more of an accent piece.

I bought this 3 drawer chest as a night stand. It is a perfect size for that (38w x 29h x 15d).I placed a thin piece of clear plastic sheeting on top to protect the surface.It arrived undamaged and packaged perfectly with pieces of particle board on front and back inside the box as well as styrofoam to protect from damage during shipment. The chest of drawers was easy to assemble. I only had to screw on 4 legs. *The drawers have stops to prevent pulling out too far and are not on tracks so they will be difficult to close. I rubbed candle wax on the bottom sides of them and they slide in and out just fine now. The color I received is actually Turquoise. It is not the Chalky Blue as indicated on line. This chest is not a piece of Broyhill but, it is of good quality for the price. I really like it.

What caught my eye first was the distressed blue color - perfect for a bedroom at my beach house. I'm so glad I purchased this dresser! The color is a beautiful teal/turquoise blue. It came packed in a large box (bubble wrapped, foam packing and particle board protection top and bottom). The drawers work great and all I had to do was screw on the 4 legs to the bottom. It is going to look amazing in my room. It is well worth the money!
