My kids definitely enjoy it. It provides a unique tactile drawing experience. However it could be designed with better quality to ensure the metal beads stay up. Some stopped working. I'm handy enough to get in there with small tools but I've definitely had toys that are easier to fix!Primary complaint is how easy it is to lose the pen. I attached ours with some strong plastic string and drilled a hole through the pen to thread it in.
