Very good at cutting, but needs help removing first slice.

Picture shows pieces with rine, but we found it easier to cut inside and get nice slices with no rine. First piece difficult to get out, but otherwise very easy.

Handy little tool to have around, I think I have used this tool every day or at least every other day since it arrived. We are a family that is very big on fruits and veggies, I being Vegan while my family eats meat I tend to make sure something is fresh daily. With the warmer weather I seem to be buying a lot of melons and this little tool works on every one of them. perfect slice to my melons with the mess and it makes the job so much quicker. Slide and lift so easy the kids can take over my melon duties because now I don’t have to worry about them with the sharp knife and they are not leaving a lot of melon behind like they do when using the spoon. And when I am doing a pot luck this makes the wonderful presentable and uniform slices that makes people want to grab it because it is pretty food. Buying the 2 pack is nice because being selfish I can have one as a backup but also I can let both boys help at the same time. I like the all stainless look of this brand looks more expensive then the rubber grips.This product was purchased for free or at a discount in exchange for my honest review. Is the product going to last the daily use from my family? So far it has worked just fine, there is no blade to get dull and it looks well put together so it should hold up for quite some time. First off I love how this came two in a pack. My sister in-law was visiting when I pulled this easy to use watermelon fruit slicer out and after using mine she insisted on taking my back up one. We held a big bbq over the weekend and this slicer came in handy making it easy to cut my watermelon. You simple cut into the watermelon and pull out your slice like you do with oversize tweezers. It was simple enough that I allowed some of the younger kids to cut into the watermelon without fear of sharp edges. I have not used it on any other melons at this time but I don't see why I couldn't making this a very useful tool for cutting fresh melons. I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

Cut my hand on this sharp edges of this watermelon cutter !!! I do not recommend, poor quality. Does don't cut through the melon as shown on u tube videos. I'm returning items, not as described and dangerous.
