Customer service is great! I ordered one and it didn't work and I contacted them on here and they sent me a replacement one before I even took mine off to send it back. I had it in one day.. the product it self is great. Starts right up, runs smoother, and idle is more consistent. It works great with my accel super coil too. Things to note; remove resistance wire and replace with regular wire. Shave the cap for the wires. The magnet does not sit down far enough on the distributor shaft. It's about an 1/8 to high. U will need to shave the rotor down as well... I am very pleased with the product. If have any mechanical ability, this will be a breeze to install.

Works great, but don't be surprised if you have a low idle problem. It is not the Pertronix, but rather the new rotor you probably installed with it. Sierra Mfg is sending the wrong rotors and they have too big of gap, thus causing slop. This slop allows the rotor to move a few degrees back and forth and causes the low idle problem. Once I installed my old rotor the problem was fixed. Search YouTube for Pertronix fix and you will see the video for the fix.You do have to file a small notch in your rotor cap for the Pertronix wires and probably file down your rotor a little for a perfect fit. Both are easy to do. The round black magnet used in the Pertronix kit causes your rotor to sit a little higher. This caused mine to slightly rub the top of the distributor cap. I filed down the bottom of the rotor and it fixed the problem.Pertronix works great, I have smoother idle, better fuel economy, and this may sound weird, but the engine is quieter at running speed.

Did not work
Tried every diagnostic I could and followed the instructions, would not fire the coil. Trying another one then going back to points if it doesn't work.
