Ellen G. White: Prophet of Destiny

Very informative and compares Ellen White to past and present day psychics and what is the difference.

Interesting book with historical details about the life of Ellen White.

Read this in 1984 while in San Diego onboard a ship in the Navy.It was an incredible book. She is a prophet. Most all the restwho claim this title are frauds. She's the real deal is what I concludedafter the read and was baptized a seventh-day adventist shortly after putting the book down.

A book about how an un-educated girl became the most prolific writer in history, used by God to tell the world how to better live. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and gathered many pointers to keep my health in older years. I am now 79 and still able to work 12 hours a day without tiring. I have no illnesses that require a doctor. Anything this woman wrote is worthy of reading, especially Counsels on Diet and Foods.

I found this book to be very inspiring. I left this book feeling that no matter who you are, how shy you are or whatever, God can use us if we put our trust in Him and if we keep it straight in our mind that it's Him that is making this happen not us. I went away with the feeling that God doesn't make us to be losers but if we let Him He can make a frail and painfully shy young girl grow to accomplish things she would never had dreamed of.

The Author presents Ellen White's prophet gift that guides one's search for God's Truth of love to save Mankind from death and destruction. The condition of our earth today shows that, left to his own willful ways, Mankind will destroy God's gift to us. God continued to send us Prophets like Ellen because of his undying love of us. He promised that the Holy Spirit would lead us into all Truth and it is evident that she was led by the Holy Spirit in her visions and teachings.

Not really a useful book.

This book provides the background to understand who Ellen White is in her actual place in history. I have been apprehensive about her writings, but this book has opened my mind to better understanding of what her experience was and why her message is valuable.

Thank you - posthumously- for the work of this book and for the pulling together of some the most salient aspects and prophecies of the prophet and messenger Mrs. E. G. White.

To me it is the best biography by a prophet for our times.I find it very captivating.I couldn't put it down.
