ORIGINAL REVIEW: This product works like a charm, and the price can’t be beat for what you get! The one-hand operation works so smoothly, and is more comfortable to use than crank-type spinners. That being said, here are some things to take note of once you have ordered one of these devices – and I recommend that you do order one if you are in the market for a salad spinner.(1) While the features list on Amazon says the parts “fit perfectly into the dishwasher lower drawer”, I would recommend against using the lower drawer since all dishwasher-safe plastics I know of are only recommended to go in the top drawer where the water temperature is not as extreme. The basket and bowl parts will not fit in our dishwasher upper rack (as will be the case with most home dishwashers), so I will hand wash those items. The lid will fit in the upper rack, but I don’t see it getting dirty enough to require more than a wipe-down.(2) Do not expect to find an owner’s manual included in the box, although according to email exchanges I’ve had with the company, they are working on such a manual.. But in the meantime, all information about the device is included on the outside of the box. So for now, if you want to keep the care instructions for your records, you will need to somehow transfer them from the box.(3) Under “Features” printed on the box it states, “Easy to clean - Lid disassembles for easy cleaning. Top-rack dishwasher safe.” Again according to email exchanges, there is no actual disassembly of the lid required – nor recommended. It can be placed, as is, on the top rack of the dishwasher.(4) Given how the spinner mechanism works, I suggest not getting too aggressive with it. When you pump once, give the mechanism time to recover before then next pump.

Pin fell out of handle when I took it out of the packaging. Fixed that but it doesn't always spin when I press the handle and the lid piece separated. Garbage product. Don't waste your money. Returned for a refund!

This broke in less than a month. I do not use this every day and yet the inner plastic lid broke off and would not spin anymore. I give this 2 stars because it is easy to spin your salad by pushing the lever up and down but this was a cheap construction. A waste of money.

I am disappointed that this spinner doesn't get my greens as dry as my $3.00 spinner I got at Ikea 20 years ago. Does a so-so job. The plastic bowl however is very sturdy. Seems like it is well-made. I just wish it dried a little better.

This spinner works well enough, but the bowl is just large enough to make gripping it a challenge. The main reason I purchased it was because of the pump rather than pulling a string to make it spin, and it's performed well so far.

I had a salad spinner for years and the plastic handle just broke off. I ordered this one and I love it. Similar design, but this is a fun color and if you just turn the top upside down it is easy to store. You use the bowl for the actual salad, so it really is a great buy. I highly recommend. Was a bit shocked and how expensive some of these can be. They were way more expensive at the outlet mall near me,

Very excited for the first few months of ownership an then all of a sudden the spinning action just stopped.The pump on the top works, the basket and bowl are in great shape, can't see anything on or in or around thetop that would prohibit it from spinning the basket. I keep trying, nothing changes. I do not put any of the threepieces in the DW, the spinner is stored on a shelf alone (nothing on top of it), I have no kids so using it as a toyhasn't been going on....I can spin the orange basket by hand but hey.....what's the use in that? Nothing to show ina photograph, hoping someone/something will take care of the issue!! I am BUMMED!

Works great, until It doesn't! The top part of the lid broke and now it rotates at 1/2 the speed! Used three or four times. Disappointed 😔
