This light was reasonably easy to install. Unfortunately as soon as it was up there was something that didn't look right about it. It was off center and there is no way that we can make it hang so it isn't crooked. We are disappointed and will eventually replace it with one from a local hardware store.

This fixture had a mission style simplicity that looks good and will be in style for years to come.

This item was supposed to be undamaged but no tin original packaging. As it turned out, the bowl-like glass globe was completely MISSING. I returned for refund, which was the only return option. Very disappointed.

So buying overhead lights is always a tough exercise. I bought 2 of these for a very, very large living room. Installed, threw enough light up to reflect off the ceiling and I am very happy. My living room is not dark, painted a light sandstone but it is huge so i was afraid the light would be lost. They not only provide enough light, but are very good looking. I needed something "vintage" feeling but not dated and not too heavy looking and this light perfectly fit the bill. Looks very attractive.The other thing is one of the lights had a broken glass dome. My contractor didn't open it for a month and i was not happy when he finally reported the broken dome to me. I contacted the seller and they immediately, without any argument or issue sent a new dome out. Fantastic customer service esp since my contractor didn't open the box immediately. This works great in our kitchen. We use LED cool white bulbs as they aren't as yellow as the soft white and not glaring blue like the bright white.

Easy to install if you're swapping it out for a light of a smikiar size. Looks nice and is made out of quality material.
