iSmartSafe Wireless Home Security System Basic Package - Cellular and WiFi Burglar Alarm - White

The alarm itself seems to be good, I haven't tested the "call and text" feature yet. The instructional DVD is aweful, the system is actually simple and easy to set up BUT the DVD complicates it because the Chinese to English translation is horrible and the girl doesn't tell you all of the buttons she is pushing in the demo so you have to rewind and pause several times, plus the DVD does not tell you how to turn on the motion or door sensors. NOW, if they would just supply a simple manual that is for the customer with steps for installation, this would prob be a good product. The manual they sent is very technical, it looks like a manufacturers manual not a customer manual. I will finish the install tonight and if I don't like it, I'll return it. Also the alarm is VERY quiet, you have to buy the additional alarm. Now, this one is supposed to call and text without a land line and aside from the terrible instructions, once you get past that, you actually see it's efficient and easy to install, very frustrating and makes one doubt the quality of the product to protect their home. Why not spend the money to get a proper video for English speaking people and a proper install manual????

I recently purchased the iSmartSafe basic system and so far I am satisfied with its abilities. My previous (different brand) system finally failed. I will say this though. Although my previous system was quite simple, it lacked the extension the iSmartSafe is capable of doing. Furthermore, I did run into a few problems while trying to get it up and running (problems I created). Fortunately Perry and his staff were very helpful and patient with solving these self generated problems. I give this product 4 stars and its customer service staff 5 stars.

Very impressed with this product and highly recommend it for DIYProbably the best DIY Security System on the market. Very easy to install. Great customer service. I had some difficulty to connect to SIM card at the beginning, after I called the customer service they told me to reboot the alarm panel then it works flawlessly. The alarm has all of the features of the traditional alarms and works great. It is easily expandable and simple to use. Their customer service is very knowledgeable and helpful. I am really impressed with this product and highly recommend it if you want to DIY your own security system. It's simple and effective.Based on my experience with iSmartSafe. I think most of the negative reviews come from users with limited do-it-yourself skills. If you don't trust your DIY skills, try to find a relative or trusted friend to help out. The installation video, user's manual, and great customer service go a long way toward explaining what is a reasonably simple installation process, so the self-install should be easy for most people. It sure beats having a total stranger from one of the traditional security companies poking around every nook and cranny of your house.I am very satisfied with this alarm system and their customer service is the best that can find in these days. Never hesitate to call or email the customer service. I even received the answer email on weekend. 5 stars all the way.

Purchased this 4 months ago. Overall, very happy with the product... especially for the price. Installation and setup of contacts, motion sensors, key chain remotes, and siren was a breeze, however; the overall system programming was not as easy as hoped. But I got through it and it works great!My biggest complaint is the mobile App needing a bit of work. There's not a way to sound the alarm (panic button) from your mobile phone (like they provide on the Key Chain Remote). In cases where maybe you have an outdoor camera and notice some activity while your not home, you might want to activate the alarm to let them know you are watching or to just scare them off.Outside of that, I really do like the platform and would suggest it for others.

I researched for a long time before deciding on this iSmartSafe home security system. I love being able to control the alarm from my phone anytime and anywhere. When the alarm is triggered, it calls my phone and sends me the alert messages on my phones. The system easily expandable and works wonderfully. It is an inexpensive way to get started with DIY home security and the ability to add other users. It gives me even more peace of mind while traveling. I have been expanding my system with more window sensors and cameras.

1 month after purchase, and this system is excellent. I wanted a simple system with notifications but not costly remote monitoring. I wanted to have a notice if a door opens; get notifications when I'm out if a sensor is activated. I don't want to pay for an extra service, just the original cost. iSmartSafe does all of these and it's simple.I also buy their indoor and outdoor cameras. I put one of the sensors on my garage door and it's worked fine so far. If I'm away, I'm notified that a sensor was triggered and I can use iSmartSafe cameras to see what's happening. I can decide if any emergency service needs to be notified.Additional benefit of this system: When the power line was cut and WiFi was lost, my alarm system still works.

I recently purchased this system after someone tried to break into my house. I highly recommend this system. I looked at the pros and cons of many systems in my search. There were several pros for me when deciding to purchase this system. One was the price, it’s much less expensive than the others (including all the sensors). The other feather is the double connection function/double protection. The fact is that I can monitor every door/sensor from anywhere, arm/disarm the system from anywhere, and live video view from anywhere. It’s also extremely easy to install.
