This is so much better than in the picture even. Absolutely great detail, not sloppily painted at all! We have a lot of outdoor little garden statues and this one is absolutely the best so far!Be careful though, the box it comes in as it clearly printed right on the side that it is a gnome riding a bulldog so if this is a gift need to be aware of that.

A few years ago a neighbor and I started a quiet "game" of putting gnomes in different places on each other's lawns and moving them around from time to time. The game eventually ended....but it was fun--and funny--to find a gnome hiding under a shrub every now and then. When I saw this gnome on a bulldog, I decided I had to have it, but there is no way I'm putting this statue on anyone else's lawn. I want to look at the big bulldog's cute little canine teeth every day!
