Fits perfect. Exactly as expected.

My old amazon cover always turned on and off when opening and closing, this one does it about 30% of the time. Otherwise feels good seems solid, a little hard to open as front closes almost seamlessly and I have to open near the power or plug.

It does what it's designed to do well enough, but has a few flaws.I like that it covers the Kindle completely. Why Amazon's official case leaves the device half exposed on the back is beyond me, particularly because in doing so they completely eliminate one of the main benefits of the device, which is the raised portion that allows you to grip it easily. The MoKo case preserves the back contour of the device, so you still have a handle to hold onto.The magnets work well enough. Auto on/off works fine. I wish (1) that they were actually a bit stronger, so that the cover wouldn't slide side-to-side so much when the cover is closed, and (2) that there was a better way to grip it to open it. Some of the official Amazon cases have a little raised metal bit that allows you to open the cover easily. This case just has a plain flat front panel.A few people have asked about Water resistance. The answer is no, for a few reasons. 1st, this case is the standard faux-leather that all 'leather' device cases have, which won't stand up well to water. It will warp, and will absorb water rather than repel it, particularly on the felted interior. 2nd, since this case completely encloses the back of the device, water will get stuck back there and you'll have to remove the case to get it out. The new Oasis is rated for water resistance but I still wouldn't want a case holding water against the back of it for days and days.I'm taking a star off for the reason that this case will ruin your Oasis reading experience. The main benefit of the Oasis is its ergonomic superiority - holding it in one hand to read is a dream. It is designed to have a natural grip. The aluminum back provides a good grip unless your hands are bone dry. Slapping this case on it will make it suddenly feel like a cheap device and makes reading an uncomfortable experience. You're better off getting a sleeve and keeping your Oasis in there until you want to read.

*** Another UPDATE 03/25/19I just noticed that the cover has a warranty. I contacted the seller and they are sending me a new case to replace the broken one. Absolutely no hassle involved. I have adjusted the star rating because of that. Great customer service! You can’t go wrong because they stand behind their product.***UPDATE- 03/23/19. I wanted to write an update because I think I may have been overly harsh because the edge of the plastic broke. I’m not sure why the corner broke as I have never dropped the kindle oasis. I was able to super glue the small piece that broke off back on. One of the photos I took shows the corner after the super glue repair. It seems to be a sturdy fix. This case does fit very well though. After looking at several other brands I think this fits better than most others. The plastic frame (the part that a small piece broke off) wraps around the kindle fully protecting it from a fall. The only exposed parts are where there is a cut out for the USB port and a cut out for the power button. I also like that the back follows the battery hump instead of leveling it out because it makes it easier to grip. For the money it’s a nice case. While it’s not real leather, it is attractive imitation of leather with a decent feel. Real leather would make this cost a lot more as well. ***I have had this cover for a few months now. It fits well, and turns the kindle oasis screen off automatically via magnet. The problem I have with it is that the corner or the plastic broke. A very small piece broke when I was removing the kindle from the case. The case still works and protects the kindle but I’m disappointed the corner broke. If I could find a high end case I’d definitely buy it as the oasis was not a cheap piece of kit.

Absolutely love it! It adds a little weight and a small amount of bulk, but that is to be expected. The leather looks real. It does have a shine, but it doesn't look cheap. To be fair, I haven't seen the official Amazon genuine leather case, so I can't compare the two, but for the price, I really don't care to.UPDATE: I have changed my mind, but it's not the case's fault. Everything I said above applies, but after using the case for a few months I have come to realize that an Oasis doesn't need a case. Having on case on this device undermines its design. If it was a Paperwhite or the other versions, this case would be perfect. But putting a case on an Oasis means you are taking away the best feature of the device: the ergonomic design. The Oasis is comfortable when it is bare, but it becomes tiring to hold when you add the case because of the extra weight and the flatten back. Unless you are really rough on your device or use it in an environment where it may get damaged without a case, I strongly recommend that you consider a sleeve instead. I'm leaving the 5 stars because it is a good case, it is just a bad idea at the end of the day, unless you need protection over comfort.
