This was purchased as a birthday gift for my Grandson. He Loved it. Sticking is fingers in the slime to get the body parts and building his monster. What a cool gift. This is what every boy dreams of, messy and a monster. Kept him occupied for quite awhile.

I got this for my son for Christmas. He is 7 and loves hands on and building. He had so much fun searching for clues, digging with tools, searching through slime and so much more!!! You reveal little treasures and keys to open more things. Its like a kids toy version of the movie National Treasure!! My son sat at the table playing with this from start to "finish" (finish meaning - he completed all the treasure hunting) within an hour or so. It was good hands on fun and he loved it. My only complaint (if you can call it one) is that most of the fun ends once the clues have all been found and the treasure is revealed. Sadly he hasn't gone back to play with the figures revealed... it was the process of finding that he liked most. Overall this was a great buy.... he was entertained and problem solved, hands on and interactive. Even though this might be considered a single use toy for some.... it was still worth the price and we have since bought other toys from this company because they were a huge success. One thing to note... this doesnt require batteries or anything.... so no electronic interaction with this if thats something someone may wonder. just simple fun

The media could not be loaded.  For some reason I lucked out and got one of these brand new kits for super cheap (like half price)!? Everything was in the package and brand new, unopened. I read all the reviews here before buying and knew there would probably be issues with my kit also (but none that I didn't think I couldn't overcome). Everything about this kit is super fun and my Kiddos had a blast playing with it all weekend (ages 3 & 5). These are the things I did to make to make it work perfectly. The brain was DOA, but I was able to use a micro flat blade jeweler's screwdriver to pry the base apart, bend up the outermost battery tabs and replace the dead LR41 batteries. A tiny drop of hot melt glue held the pieces back together and now I can replace the batteries as often as needed. I bought some 2.5 oz Glow in The Dark Toy Slime cans and added one to the game container that holds the monster's body parts (I did this before I let the kids open the kit up). This extra slime was a big plus in the effect of forcing the Kiddos to dig the body parts out of a huge vat of slime (the slime was their favorite part of this game!). I also test fit all the monsters arms and legs and did have to sand down with a nail file a couple insertion pegs slightly to get them all to fit perfectly and securely. Other than that I found a fluorescent black light tube I had in my Halloween stuff, dimmed the lights and turned the instructions (one by one) into a Dr. Frankenstein laboratory type story. The Kiddos were nervous, shrieking, screaming and laughing all at the same time with each new step we had to complete. After the first hour of fun we had trying all the initial instruction steps in the story-like manner, the Kiddos kept coming back and trying new things with all the parts and pieces. They even put the foam beading stuff into the slime and made it even cooler. When they were done with the kit at first I also gave each one a fresh new 2.5 oz Glow in The Dark Toy Slime can to play with on it's own (you would have thought I handed them Taylor Swift concert tickets, they were so thrilled). All in all it was $$ very well spent for the amount of fun and excitement that we all got out of playing with it together. 8/10 on the Kiddo fun meter! :D

My little nephew (4 years old) loves Treasure X toys & was happy to get it. It took a few of us to assemble it, clean the slime 🙂. He enjoys the process & plays with it. So I was happy to get it for him.

I love this brand! Seriously best toys and gifts ever! My son has texture issues (mild Autism) and he loves these toys and i love them. There fun, interactive, a path to follow, surprises and toys after so so great. My son loves science and the world of creepy so these toys are the best (not to mention the Dino fro mthe other packs) these are the very best we buy them every Easter, birthday, Christmas they are fantastic. My son is six now and he loves them!

Not too messy and lots of fun.

Toy didn't light up at all. Either malfunctioned or batteries came dead. The toy falls apart way too easily too. My son is having fun with it but I'm a little peeved that I paid for a working tour and got this.
