Bark control for bored dogs!
This Dog Bark Controller generates a 25KHz sinusoidal wave of approximately 2Vac, when triggered by a noise, ie loud dog bark, for just longer than the duration of the noise. 25KHz is above the average human upper hearing range, which is 15-17KHz, so the neighbour wont hear is but the nearest dog & cat will. This noise level is approximately equivalent to a jack hammer to a human.Unfortunately, this device will only stop or reduce a barking dog that is bored with nothing better to do than bark at rustling leaves. When the dog has a genuine need to bark, it will bark and will ignore this device. The only really effective bark control device is the electronic dog collar type that will convince the dog that barking is not a good idea, but convincing your ignorant neighbour of this is probably going to be as easy as winning the lotto. You may need to get the local council involved and provide evidence by using an external webcam with audio capability to match times to noise as I did. This forced the ignorant neighbour to keep his yapping dogs inside at night and I managed to get some well earned sleep!I still leave the dog bark house in an accessible position so when the dogs are outside and they trigger the sound, they tend to move to the other side of the neighbour's yard. Rechargeable 9v batteries are a must as they last about a week.

Working for me
I have a problem neighbor and this seems to have worked. I cant say for sure since its winter time and the dog hasnt had time to get used to the noise yet. I can say that when I set it outside the non stop barking stopped. I watched the dog learn in only three barks that the noise was a result of his own noise. Now instead of full volume any time day or night barking, I hear subdued singular woofs as the dog attempts not to trigger the devise.

Works well, false positives can slow the dogs learning process.
it works but false positives make my dogs a little skiddish. It was very effective for the first few weeks. My wife can hear the tone so it's a bit annoying for her. I cannot hear anything. It takes a lot of batteries, should be plugged in instead but that's not an option.

So-So
"Slight" deterrent. I placed two of these on the wall between my house and the neighbors, who have 4 constantly barking dogs. While they did not stop the barking completely, they did have some effect on length of time they barked.

The light flashes...but is it really working?
Not sure if this is really working...Sometimes the neighbor's dog stops mid bark and other times she just keeps barking :/ Honestly, I would not recommend this product to someone suffering from loud, deep dog barking annoyances.

It works!!
Awesome!! One of my dogs is a talker. She barks at everything. This has brought her barking to a screeching halt. Even when she does forget and bark outside she immediately stops after one bark and wants to run back in the house. It does not seem to affect my other dog when he barks but he rarely does anyway so it does not work on every dog but I consider it a success that it has quieted my compulsive barker!!! Definitely worth trying.

Not powerful enough to stop barking dog!
What a laugh. So far it doesn’t work on my neighbors dog. They should make the device 3X more powerful or put a more sensitive microphone in it.

I could tell this device worked for some dogs in ...
I could tell this device worked for some dogs in our neighborhood, but not the problematic barkers. I've come to learn that if a dog wants to bark, it's going to bark no matter what.
