Got these for my dog when she got diabetes so if the little bugger somehow got loose and someone else found her (we live in a rural area) they would know she has a special condition and get her back to us as soon as possible. It fits beautifully on her collar with her other tag with her home info and (I kid you not) as soon as I put it on her she strutted around for some time thinking she was all that. Bless her:) Well it does look pretty good!!!!

I bought these for my moms dog, because he became diabetic and insulin dependent rather quickly and lost all of the access weight he had carried most off his life in less then 5 weeks. This did two things 1. Made him feel great,10 years younger, so much energy, like a puppy again. And 2. Made him shrink to a puppy size again and showed us were all the places in the yard where he could get out and run the neighborhood with all that newfound puppy energy.We got to know it's not like pervious times where everybody knows everybody on the block or street or neighborhood anymore. I wish it was. But it's not, and thanks to our little socialite diabetic, we got to know a few of them. Unfortunately, when he got out at 2 or 3am, we couldnt just go knock or doors and the rest of our neighborhood at least has the same consideration. BUT, they would still keep him from running by putting him in their backyards to either look for his owners in the morning or wait until his owners came looking for him. Unfortunately again. . . . INSULIN dependent diabetes means, we cant wait that long, he has to have 5ml every 12 hours . . . . You get it.These tags alerted our neighbors that our pup has a medical issue and to look closer at his collar for our address and phone number. He doesnt bite, and although it isnt good for him, if you offer him a bite of anything, he's your new best friend and easy to catch.So these tags are great for your pets collar if they are diabetic for their collar. You just need a small key chain hoop or something better to attach it with because the clips they come with are easy to bend and come apart easy. But the tags themselves are eye catching, durable, easy to read, and PERFECT to help keep your medically disabled fur baby safe!!!

I wasn’t very happy to be diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago, but decided to embrace it as a new part of my identity by getting these tags. I attached one to the zipper pull on my test kit (which helps make it easier to open the bag), and one to my purse. Maybe it’s silly, but I sort of felt like if something happened to me, at least the medical alert tag on my purse would tell people that little bit about me. The tag feels heavy and well made.

These are small but they do get attention. I bought these tags for a trip. I have a Medic Alert bracelet for diabetes, but I wanted something on my purse and carry on bag to also catch people attention, if something happened. They did what I got the to do. During the summer I volunteer at a day camp and I moved one to camp backpack. The camp nurse approved. I bought a pair for my sister who is also diabetic. Got these for my dog’s collar after he was diagnosed with the ‘beetis. It’s lightweight and was easy to add to his other tag. I wanted something to alert people to his condition in case a catastrophe happens. This will work.

The tag is of suitable size for hanging on the zip of my travelling wallet. Not too ‘obvious’ to allow the whole world knowing I’m a diabetic, yet necessary for anyone/medic trying to search for my identity to know I’m one.I’m hanging the other on my travelling backpack. The international symbol for medical needs helps to alert paramedic of my medical when I travel, even if I go to a country that doesn’t use English, esp in asia countries.
