Takagi TK-IV-01 (9007604005) Isolation Valve Kit with Isolation Valves & Pressure Relief Valve, N/A

This is not a "Red White Valve" brand model #3420RAB set of valves rather a "Watts" brand product. Three stars because I was mislead with the picture and wasted time. However, product arrived within a day or to of being ordered and it was a hassle free return. I was looking for a direct replacement for my existing Red White Valves that failed after only 8 years of service and the Watts had completely different dementions. Watts might be a better product not sure but they definitely do not look like or have the same dementions as the ones depicted.

These fit perfectly onto my new Takagi on-demand propane water heater. I was worried about paying so much, but once you price out fittings and shut-off valves, and the hassle of getting everything the correct size without running back to the hardware store, these are worth it. I was able to hook up 18" long copper flex extensions from these to the house plumbing. I also was able to put the hot water pop-off valve directly onto the red isolation valve here. Overall, it made this DIY install much simpler and easier. If you buy a Takagi water heater, I highly recommend these.

While the valves seem to be of ok quality , they are advertised as " Takagi ". This is not the case. They worked on my Takagi made tankless water heater but are manufactured in China. I could have ordered same quality valves for much less on Amazon.

I bought a pair of these from Plumbers Paradise for a small Takagi water heater. I figured for the high price I would get Takagi quality valves; install them and no problems. Instead I got a pair of Watts, NOT Takagi. Installed with 2 wraps Teflon onto Uponor fittings; leaked. Tried with 3 wraps and they both leaked again!This is the third time the friggin heater is coming off the wall (easier than pulling the manifolds off) and I'm going to use Oatey pipe goop.Next I'm going to run a 3/4 NPT tap into the valves and see what thread was hacked into them. Nothing like paying top buck for Chiney garbage!
