HarperCollins The Girl and the Ghost

How to break your heart in 280 pages or less
Suraya and her ghost, Pink, share a wonderful and unconventional relationship; even if they're bound by blood magic and he is her servant, as she is his master, the girl innocence can't allow herself to see the ghost anything but her new friend. Growing together, they become the best of friends but meeting new people bring a rising jealousy to the surface when the little human girl begin having less time to devote to her ghost. When everything seems compromised and an evil figure try to endanger Pink, it is only this odd friendship that can solve the problem. This story is so beautiful and touching; Pink is very realistic, being burdened by all those human emotions he claim a ghost can't feel. The plot twist in the end made me wish the book was longer and there was a sequel to know more about it.I don't really know how I feel about the ending: maybe I hoped for something different that could not break my heart in a million pieces. Yes, I'm mad right now.
