My 12 year old daughter wears a 12/14 normally. We found a super cute swim top at Target in their juniors section, but the bottoms they were paired with were not appropriate for a girl that age. It was really hard finding solid black bikini bottoms for a tween. These fit great, are modest & can be matched with a lot of swim tops!

So, i have had an ongoing problem that I buy rash guard sets for my girls and the bottoms are always waaaaaaay too big on them, so I end up using the bottoms from years ago (like a 3T bottom with a 6T top) but of course after years of use, the bottoms get worn out, and I have been looking literally everywhere to try to find just basic bikini bottoms for little girls in pink and purple to match their rash guard tops, and finally after looking on literally every website, finally found this, just recieved, and they are cute, fit well, and are reasonably priced. A small mom triumph!

So disappointing! My 12 year old has needed extra swim bottoms all season. This age group has limited options in swimwear that fit the needs of both style, fit and appropriateness for a tween girl. We were so hopeful when we ordered these swim bottoms in two sizes and different colors hoping at least one would work out. Although the fit was good, and my daughter could actually fit into both sizes 10 and 12, the material is so thin that they were rendered unwearable and indecent for a teen girl. I cannot believe there are no other reviews to this effect on these swim bottoms. All four pairs we ordered, regardless of color, had the same issue. I shudder to think what they would have looked like if they got wet!! 😱 This is a true shame because they actually fit her and had good coverage on the backside. Please beware if you have a tween/teen girl that needs normal privacy over the front bikini area. These will not be appropriate!!! Don’t buy!!

I read reviews saying that these run large but I feel they are very true to size. Compared to Land's End size 8, these bottoms in a size 8 are a bit smaller in both waist and coverage in the back, though the Land's End pair I'm comparing to are a bit stretched out from a summer of use. Given that, they're very similar in size.They are also not lined. I wouldn't say the material is thin.... it's the same thickness as regular swim suit, but again, compared to Land's End which lines all of their suit bottoms from front to back, these are just regular lycra/spandex-type material throughout. Something to consider if that's what you're worried about.They're also a bit overpriced for 0.5 ounces of material, (I could have bought an entire suit for the price), but it looks like this company and Land's End seem to have the entire market on selling suit separates.

I’m giving these a 1 star for the simple fact that they are not lined and therefore see through when my daughter put them on. There is no way she can wear this. I was happy to find just bottoms as she needed a smaller size than the top she already had. Very disappointed.

Very good quality, vibrant color & great coverage. Daughter is 6 years old in 2 weeks, tall (about 44" tall) & lean (exactly 43lbs) Size 6 pants are always loose in the waist so I ordered size 5. They fit good with a bit of room to grow.

My 7 yr old daughter wears swim rash guards as tops, and rarely do the tops come with bottoms. She is a size 7/8 rash guard and the couple of bottoms that have come with them, are way too big (gymboree is huge on the bottom). I ordered the size 6 and it fits perfectly, as snug as underwear, no gaps and covers her body, and looks like there won't be any bunching or riding up as she swims all summer.

I always have to purchase girls swim bottoms, because adults small are to big.... If I’m lucky enough to find size ex-small, then they want to charge an arm and leg for. I’m not going to pay there price..I bought 3 of them to go with different sets I have cuz I do need the adult size tops, this way I can mix & match sets, I’ll just donate the original bottoms... LoL...I’ll keep buying girls sizes....
