Too stiff does not clean easily.

These are nice little stainless steel scrubbies used to clean the outside of non-stick pans, the inside of stainless steel cookware, and the dried sauce from that stuff you ate but left the plate on the counter from the night before. These are pretty damned durable because I have had one in use for months now. Although I am not often cooking at home or using them everyday, they are pretty durable and rugged compared to some of the cheaper sponges and scrubbies I have had before. Reasonably priced, long lasting and do the job well. Pretty decent steel scrubbies that won't fall apart.

Growing up, steel scrubbers were a staple in our home for cleaning. One can last a long time. I decided to give these a try. You have to know how to use these scrubbers from past experience or else they can seriously ruin your pots and pans. This set of scrubbers did not come with any instructions in the package. I like that they came individually wrapped. The steel wires are a bit thicker and harder than others I have used in the past. These scrubbers are not too dense. I used it on my steel wok and broiler pans. They are not to be used on nonstick coatings or shiny metal surfaces since they will scratch everything. They will get food particles stuck inside so I rinse a lot in hot soapy water. I was pleased with these scrubbers because they were stiff and strong to get the stuck on food with little effort.

These scouring pads are made of a high-quality stainless. They are exactly the same composition and look as the Scotch Brite stainless steel scrubbers. I don’t have a dishwasher, so I do purchase several different products to get the job done. What I really liked is the fact that they are individually wrapped. I can tuck them under my sink without having to worry they will get grungy. These don’t tend to rust and are long-lasting.They don’t always stay round, but rather come apart. I posted a picture of one of them that has lost its shape. These are very effective scrubbers and work especially well on my stainless pans. I don’t generally use them on my cast iron, but they would probably do a good job. Once I’m done with them, I am able to recycle them with my metals.

Honestly, I am really impressed with these little scrubbers! They are made out of thicker than usual steel compared to regular steal wool. They hold up nicely to pots and pans but still be soft in your hands. Great bang for your buck. The downside is the price. This set is a little bit expensive that other brands.

These are the only type scouring pad I use—they effectively clean and last longer than soap infused products like Brillo. These particular pads are better quality than I’m used to—they’re much bigger and more tightly woven than other brands. I also appreciate that the pads don’t quickly fall to pieces or elongate into a stringy mess. Besides doing a good job of cleaning stainless steel pans, they’re more gentle on my hands—no pokey wires while I’m scrubbing. As you can see from the photos, this pad is bigger (it’s in the middle) than other brands, and it doesn’t fray or pull apart like others I’ve used. The pad in the other photo has been used daily for almost two weeks, and it’s still going strong. The pad to the left of it (different brand) uncoiled almost immediately upon use. Not all scouring pads are created equal--these last longer and work more efficiently.

I really like these over the ones that already have the soap in them. These are tightly woven and don't come apart that easy.

For the current price of $9.99, this set of 6 stainless steel scourers is competitively priced at $1.50 each pad. The six scourers are individually wrapped and reasonably sized. They do not rust. They are also tightly wound and do not fall apart easily. These work well. They are good for cleaning outside grills and oven grates and similar items. Do not use on acrylic showers and tubs or porcelain sinks. Note that the steel balls will expand and unravel a bit, but that is typical.
