Keeps things very cold, quiet, doesn’t take much space
This affordable little freezer holds more than I expected , keeps things frozen, doesn’t take up much room, and is completely quiet. I have it up in a bedroom full of ice packs for a sore neck and shoulder. It’s so helpful to have them upstairs and not have to go down to the kitchen or garage in the middle of the night. One cubic foot doesn’t sound like much but it is quite roomy inside.

Great little freezer
This is a great little freezer. Everything is hard as a rock frozen. It holds a lot and that is important because my RV needs that ability for long trips. After two months, it is icing up a little, but that is understood and was mentioned in the information that it was not frost free. The wattage that is claimed is lower than the consumption reading from my inverter so it eats up more juice than I expected. I have been turning it off at night when it is cooler and when I am on the road traveling and that has not been a problem. It keeps everything rock solid frozen. I recommend this freezer.

Kinda loud
The media could not be loaded. It fits plenty of food for one person but it hums kinda loud. I have a mini fridge with a small freezer so I got this freezer to supplement. I think this mini freezer is louder than the mini fridge that I already have. I hope I can figure out a way to make it quiet in a small living space. It's probably best to keep this in a garage.

Product sent was previously sent to someone else and the levelling legs replaced
Very poor customer service as per below email from me:I made contact with Black & Decker not because of warranty issue as you are portraying in your email but because of the missing leveling legs. They were replaced by two different fixed legs. I earlier sent a photo of this issue via email which obviously was totally ignored. I was told this issue was a manufacturer’s defect. I told the technician that if he provides me with the correct leveling legs I can attached them to the freezer. The person told me that my only choice was to return the freezer. When AMZ contacted your company the responsr was that I will not be able to connect it. I have a picture of where the leveling legs should be screwed and I believe it can be done.My recent findings of this shipment show that this freezer was shipped previously to a customer as shown on the shipping label. Obviously the freezer was the one shipped to me. Attached is the picture of the label. I also have a picture of the packing that shows it had gone through so many transits that the packing has sustained damage. Here’s the pictures of the labels.

Perfectly fits my space
I needed an overflow freezer but don't have extra space. This fits perfectly in vertical stack with my counter size fridge while still allowing storage above. Black and Decker products are known for economy with occasional performance downsides. However I went for the known brand, avoiding all the off-brand and Chinese unknowns that Amazon carries.

Why does it make more noise than my full-size refrigerator/freezer?
I don’t know how anyone can think this is silent. The motor or whatever makes an intermittent buzzing sound. If I had to be in the same room with it all the time, I don't think I could deal with it, but it's ok from a bit of a distance. It freezes fine. No temperature control, but as long as things are frozen, it doesn't matter.I previously bought the Koolatron, which made the same noise but way louder. I returned it and they sent me a new one which made the same sound as the one I returned but not quite as loud. Still too loud to have in a small apartment, though. So this Black and Decker is definitely better.
