Noritake Colorwave Mug, Blue

It's nice to finally have cups in our house that both men and women can appreciate. I was tired of the mismatched set that evolved over the years. Some were dainty, others were very masculine--big clunky cups with weird sayings or goofy pictures, the kind usually given as gifts. These chocolate mugs with white interiors unify my cupboard's look and their simple style makes everyone happy.There's enough handle for a three-finger grip and while this mug isn't jumbo in size, it certainly holds plenty of coffee. I like the heft these stoneware mugs have. They feel very durable. The mugs are microwave, oven and dishwasher safe and made in Indonesia.

Update: These mugs contain Lead. I got rid of them.I'm afraid to tell you how much I love these mugs because I don't want them to be sold out. They are matte colored ceramic on the outside and shiny white ceramic on the inside, perfect weight, balanced, graceful handle and lip, yet also sturdy. I love the feel of the matte ceramic on the outside while handling it. I loooove these mugs. You might too. ;)

The raspberry color was beautiful and very striking, and as for all ceramics make sure you handle it with care but otherwise I can see it lasting for a very long time. High quality stuff!

It's very well constructed. It's only downside is that it doesn't keep coffee very warm for very long. It keeps the heat as well as most, but I'm hoping to find a cup/mug that holds the heat even better.

I bought these cups because they match my home decor, and specifically because they are exactly the color of my coffee when I add my perfect amount of creme. Somehow, I just love how that looks. I like that the inside of the cup is white - you can really see the color of the coffee and know if it's how you want it. I also like the white because you can see if the cup is really clean after you wash it. I put these in the dishwasher and they don't have any wear that I can see. The handle fits all my fingers which is nice. The outside of the cup stays cool enough to handle.

I use this mug multiple times a day. It doesn't stain even if coffee sits in it overnight. It has a great feel to it, and it is aesthetically appealing. Overall, fantastic mug.

I really like the looks of this cup and was ready to buy it, then I saw the lead warning. Lead is a poison with no safe level. Years from no there may be kids drinking from these cups. Please don't buy anything containing lead.

Everything you'd want in a coffee mug. Wide handle, easy to hold. What I really appreciate is the thinner lip of the cup, which allows for drip free sipping! The outside texture is delightful to touch when your hands need warmed. Yet, the inside cleans well. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate ... All taste better in this mug. Pricey? Yes, but well worth the $.
