Don't waste your monet.
This does not work & had to ship the item abroad at my cost for a refund on the item. Shipping was also meant to be reimburst but wasn't. So don't be out of pocket like me & save your money.

Instant Effect
The effect of this on my pug was instant - a few weeks ago he started barking in the night because he wasn't well. Now that he's better he's just barking out of habit, he knows if he barks somebody will come down and check he's okay and he just likes it.The device came, then i had to go out and buy an awkward battery (just to warn you, weird square one), then i turned it on, and the first time he barked the light flashed and he looked utterly confused and didn't bark again. Now all he has to see if the device and he stops barking immediately, so every night in our house has been glorious silence

"Standard" version
I have not installed the device yet, but found out you cannot can the frequency when your device is of a "standard" version, you can change the sensitivity level but not the frequency as depicted on the Amazon page. I find that disappointing and will report on the effectively of the device after a few weeks.

Not good
When the dogs barked the ultrasonic noise went off actually any loud noise the ultrasound went off. It also effected my children who could hear the screeching noise from the deterrent. Not successful unless you want a confused dog and cross children

This does not work I would. Send it back if I could find leaflets on resending yourProduct back

Seems to work at the moment let's hope it keeps working because a barking dog for 7hours gets in your head
