Just so you know I use a scale of 1to10 to describe the heat level. I like to stay in the 7 to 8 area which would be a nice hot habanero . which leads me here .I've ordered a whole bunch of so called hot beef jerky but none were at the 7 or 8 level when they were supposed to be so I figured maybe it’s just me and my scale which my daughter uses also, she likes the 8 to 9 level anyhow I decided to raise my purchasing scale to yup you got it the terribly hot GHOST PEPPER to my surprise it actually worked.i found my jerky I’ve been searching for FINALLY !!! It’s a level 7 with a great texture and flavor .so if you like that 7to 8 level like me you’ll love this product obviously if they’re too hot ( habaneros) buy the other flavors but stick with this brand if you prefer QUALITY over quantity . Just remember you get what you pay for .or like some other reviewer whined about they’ll make their own cause it cost too much. ( good luck ) it also tells you the weight on the package before you bought it —-simpleton

Quantity was little for price. Texture was not like normal jerky which is dried and chewy. The texture for the Smokehouse BBQ flavor was a bit mushy when chewed - not at all like the jerky I am used to.

It doesn't taste low sodium at all! It's absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it! The only problem is you'll eat it too quickly and your seven bucks will be gone like that. :-)

I’m very picky with jerky but i just had surgery and needed snacks with protein but low sodium which was super hard to find. Someone needs create a line of products for low sodium high protein cause there’s just not much out there. Anyhoo this jerky tasted very good but such a small bag. I can get maybe 2 small servings with just one bag. But still very tasty!

I was so confident that I was going to love this jerky, that I got two orders (6 bags). Opened bag one...popped a piece in my mouth and initially enjoyed the true heat and spicy flavor. Now I really like tougher jerky that makes you work for it, but I chewed and chewed and had to eventually spit it into a napkin. It was all grissle. Thought just bad piece... Tried another piece. Same thing. So I opened a second bag to see if it was a one-off... No. Even the thin looking pieces are really tough and fibrous. And after chewing it for a few minutes, it almost tastes like the meat had gone off before the jerking process. So disappointed. I love jerky - especially spicy - and always looking for high quality grass fed but this was not it.
