Everbuild - Heat Mate Sealant Black 295ml

I used it to hold together an old wood burning stove and was worried that it would get hotter than the 300 degrees. It was easy to apply with great adhesion and I now realise that most of the stove metal doesn’t reach 300 degrees. The photo illustrates the good flexible seal after a few days use. The fireclay previously used was next to useless and soon became just a white powder.

I used this to seal the flu on my log burner. Perfect job

With recent heavy downpours of rain my wood burner which was installed 5 years ago developed a small leak from the outside. This was pooling on the top of the stove. Decided to purchase this product to re-seal the flue pipe sections. Job sorted, you can tell just by using it that it is a good quality product. 👍

This stuck the rope around my log burner door and the other seals very well. It was recommended to me by the stove manufacturer, that’s got to be worth five stars!JC
