Met de overstap van de Maxi Cosi groep 0 naar de grotere autostoel, zocht ik een zonnekap die niet enkel tegen de zon beschermt maar ook vrij laag gaat om een coconnetje te maken wanneer onze zoon in slaap valt. Grote faal op beide fronten: de zonnekap biedt nauwelijks schaduw, nochtans is het mei en staat de zon al vrij hoog. Mijn zoon heeft ALTIJD de zon in zijn ogen. Doordat de kap niet laag gaat, biedt het ook geen extra schaduw tegen lichtinval opzij (wanneer raamschermen nog teveel zon doorlaten). Misschien heeft het nut als onze zoon een paar jaar ouder is, maar dat is dan echt een designfout. Spijt van deze nutteloze aankoop.

I'm using these in a Ford S-Max (2023). The size of the seat protectors is almost exactly identical to the size of the actual carseats in the 2nd row.The protectors are well made, and have absolutely no smell to them, which is a huge plus! They come with a small patch of fabric which can be tucked in between the seat and backrest, and a belt which can be attached around the headrest. In my case the minimum distance of this belt is still just a little too long, but that doesn't really impact usability.I'd estimate the padding to be about 5 mm thick. The bottom is equipped with non-slip material, which has a mesh-like structure.

The car seat protector is of great quality and is easy to fit and clean. The best part is that it prevents the car seat from making indentations in the leather seats. I have been using it for many years, and my seats still look great, while the protector still looks new. It is worth the money.

Er schützt meine Ledersitze hervorragend und überzeugt durch seine hohe Qualität. Das Material stinkt nicht was ich sehr angenehm empfinde.Die Montage war denkbar einfach und ging schnell von der Hand. Schon beim Anbringen ist mir die gute Passform aufgefallen - er passt sich perfekt der Form meines Sitzes an, ohne aufzutragen und ermöglicht die Nutzung der ISO-FIX HalterungSo sind meine Sitze effektiv vor Schmutz, Kratzern und Abnutzungserscheinungen durch den Kindersitz geschützt.Im Gebrauch zeigt sich, dass der Sitzschoner sehr strapazierfähig ist. Er hat schon einige Fahrten mit unserem Kleinen unbeschadet überstanden. Auch die Reinigung ist unkompliziert: Ein einfaches Abwischen reicht meist aus, um eventuelle Flecken zu entfernen. Die Investition in diesen Sitzschoner lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, wenn man seine Autositze in bestem Zustand halten möchte. Ich kann ihn uneingeschränkt empfehlen!
