Not unlike several other reviewers, I do like the look of this box. However, the lower door magnets were not aligned so the door would not stay closed. Rather than try to buy magnets small enough and flat enough to replace the originals, I just found a couple of small thumbtacks and they work just fine. HOWEVER, like other buyers, the top door cannot be opened without opening the lower door. Makes me wary of any other products from this source. I liked it well enough not to return it thinking I would only get another defective replacement.

The media could not be loaded.  Excuse the crappy video. You can see the door and when I let go, it flops open because the magnets on the bottom door are not lined up. I put some makeup on the magent on the door and you can see where the magnet is making contact with the wood. Now we get the fun task of figuring out how to secure the door.Also, the holes on the handles do not line up with the holes on the door so you can only put one screw in each handle. But that's whatever, it would still be functional but a door that doesn't close will do NOTHING to keep mu cats from eating the bread.

I cannot explain how happy I am with this purchase. I think this is my favorite thing that I’ve ever bought on Amazon. I did not buy it to only use for bread. Obviously I am using it as more of a decorative type display case that is also functioning as a mini coffee bar/bread holder🤣. There are a lot of bread boxes on Amazon but it was the metal tabs on the edges of the doors that did it for me. It makes it look more old Timey in my opinion. I am 100% happy with this purchase!

It came in plastic wrapped pieces and required full assembly. no problem. good instructions. it even came with a "real" screwdriver. impressive. however, i did notice two issues with assembly. one - the screws that attach the handles on the front doors should not be over tightened. they will pull out the threaded pins in the handles if so done. two - the bottom self did not have a final cut in the back to allow the back plates to slip into, thus making it about and 1/8 inch too tall and would not allow the final top to be attached. a quick trip to my table saw to shave the amount down on one of the two back pieces and viola. success. a beautiful piece for our new kitchen. as an aside the full color instruction card does reflect a slot cut into the piece it just wasnt done on the actual piece. thus i rated it a four over all. otherwise it is definitely a five product.

I love the finish and look of the box! Best yet, I can finally stop using plastic bags and wrap and hopelessly trying to keep my bread fresh in the fridge. The box comes with wordless instructions but it's so easy to put together that it only took me 10 minutes. The knife holder on the side is definitely a nice and thoughtful touch. The only complaint I have is that it's missing four screws for the door handles. I ended up having to use the two spare screws that came in a small pouch included but I still need to run to a hardware store to grab two more screws to tighten the handles. I really like the look of the box that I am thinking to get one more to display my figurine collection.

I love this bamboo wood bread box, it creates a classic warm touch for my kitchenб has a versatile design that allows it to fit properly on my desk.It can be said that construction products are quite solid and strong, and easy to assemble with one person. In addition, the capacity of this product is spacious to accommodate many different sized cakes: bread, rolls, and cake, also can be used to store other items, especially if you have a small kitchen counter.

Each time I pass thought the kitchen and I see this box I think I'm in a store and just grab another cookie. I do like it and always wanted one since I bake a lot and never had proper storage. The two storage compartments help a lot because on the bottom I put my home made bread and on the top cookies and other sweets (I ALWAYS HAVE MORE SWEETS). it is spacious enough for a small family and looks nice. I always get compliments when people come over.HHas a few pieces but the install did not take long at all,and frankly was quite easy.

It went together easy peasy, and the magnets lined up. I don't have any gaps anywhere. The only issue was a slight bend in the board that goes on the back but I simply pushed against it from the inside and the outside at different points and it dropped down into the slot meant to hold it. Good quality, attractive, I'm very pleased! Glad I took a risk even with only 70% 5 star rating, I usually won't order anything with less than an 85%.
