RavensburgerHappy Days Collection No.1 Look North 4x 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults and Kids Age 10 Years Up

I do a lot of jigsaws, especially during the winter months, so I nearly always buy multipacks which are much better value than single jigsaws. I mainly buy Gibsons but I was pleased to find this pack by Ravensburger. I actually chose this particular pack, as I have holidayed in all four of the places depicted. I have now completed 2 out of the 4 jigsaws and enjoyed doing so. The jigsaws were good quality and the pictures used clear and attractive. My one very minor grumble is that when you open up the box, none of the 4 jigsaws inside are labelled to show you which one is which. Without removing the jigsaws from their cellophane packs, I had to try to find a piece of the jigsaw which was recognisably part of the jigsaw which I wanted to do. A small label on each jigsaw would be very helpful! Overall, however, this was a really nice pack of jigsaws at a reasonable price. I will be looking out for similar packs of Ravensburger jigsaws.

This is the first Ravensburger jigsaw that we have purchased, after first starting to buy jigsaws during lockdown. These are so much better in that the pieces are lovely and smooth at the edges making it almost impossible to put a wrong piece in, with other brands we have found that if you put a wrong piece in it is difficult to remove it sometimes damaging the piece in the process. Having completed a couple of the Ravensburger puzzles we have not found this a problem, nice lux matt type finish reducing glare when working under a light.

The jigsaws themselves are very good. The reason I have only given 4 stars is because the plastic bags they are in are not labelled with the name of the jigsaw so you don’t know which one you are doing until you are part way through it.

Reason for the poor overall mark is the four packs are not marked to indicate which picture the peices apply to. Some would say it adds to the puzzle. I found it disappointing. I have photocopied a picture and placed a copy in each of the puzzles as I have worked it out

Ravensburger make great puzzles and these four are no exception. Although only 500 pieces they are still quite difficult and the two I have finished took about a day each. They are just the ticket for sitting at home during the covid restrictions.
