Enjoyable with the correct equipment
Such a great variety to choose from. All seeds sown so far have made germination andare now growing well, thanks to the instructions given, which also are easy to follow. Not tasted yet as not ready.Brilliant idea for a new starter like me.

Good value
Nice few seeds in a nice box. There's a bar code to get the instructions on how to grow. Seems a nice gift.

Excellent value
Great value for the money spent using mini greenhouses to help the seeds come along and everything is going great I will be ordering this again for next year

Just the right amount for beginners BUT read on
Late in sowing seeds due to cold weather conditions but within a week the tomato seeds have germinated along with a couple of others. I think the only disappointment I really had was that I was expecting to plant globe artichokes and be eating them this year (love them) but sadly you should not eat the first years, instead cut off the top. Then I discover it is far easier (but probably very expensive) to buy GA young plants as you have to faff about with seeds. Apart from that everything else quite straight forward. It does state full sun for all plants but do your research on the web as some can grow in half and half shade.Update: Tomatoes growing healthily, lovely big crisp radishes, struggling lettuces, peas growing well but I forget which 'greens' seeds but something I planted I thought were salad greens have turned out to be WEEDS a couple of inches high with yellow flowers, chickweed I think it is called. Not managed to plant all the seeds due to illness and probably a bit late for most but I did manage to get the chilli and egg plant seeds to germinate, they are the size of small plugs - they need potting on as soon as I can get round to it. Fingers crossed for good weather that will help bring them on. Have put outside in mini greenhouse instead of indoors. I wasn't keen on radish until I ate this variety straight from the earth, shall be buying another packet of seeds if I can find the variety.Update: Not only did one packet produce chickweed with small 'puffballs' similar to dandelions - another lot of seeds turned out to be DANDELIONS ! only discovered when the dandelion flowered. I had been eating the leaves thinking I was eating a salad crop. Fortunately you can eat dandelion leaves in a salad but it seems odd that 2 packets did not contain what they said they were.....hence I have reduced 4 stars to 3 stars. However I shall not repurchase next year.
