Q: why does the blue fins have exact sizes while others say sm, m, l, xl others say 6-7, 7-8 etc. what is the differnce?

I wasn't shopping for the blue fins I bought the orange in large after returning XL. I have alway been extra large so the solids run very large. The numbers make it seem more accurate but I think you may have to decide if you mind trying and exchanging. I was not charged and shipping was free. If it's not free to exchange for toy just decide knowing they run large

If you go to the manufacturer's website, you will find a sizing chart -- it took a little sleuthing for me to find it, but it's there. Good luck!

Hi Michaela I have never use emme's or top swim, I wear a 44 and size 11 so I use an extra large Hydro.Both in the "trainer" and the "ocean" models.Hope this helps,Nunzio

Definitely go with XL, especially if you're planning to wear booties like me I have a foot size to fit 11 sometimes 11 and a half and I use XL
