Perfect for My Tiny Home Kitchen Floor
I bought this product for doing a river rock flooring in the house me and my fiance are building. I would say about 90% of the rocks in the order came in perfect smooth condition. The others have a few rough and somewhat jagged areas on them but they're mostly smooth and not a danger to your feet. A handful did arrive broken but that's just the nature of shipping bulk rocks. Some rocks aren't as strong as other structurally so they're bound to break. A few of the rocks I can actually glue back together so that's a bonus. Overall I'm very excited to get them cleaned, sealed, and installed in our tiny home. I don't mind the imperfections in them because nature doesn't do perfect and there's no way to get rocks perfectly smooth. Anyone who has tumbled rocks knows that. These rocks are also supposed to be used for landscaping so uniformity isn't the goal with the product as far as imperfections go. They are a little chalky and appear more of a cream off white but i won't really know if that color is the true color or just what it looks like wet.

Great for painting
Great for painting. Three years ago, my younger brother passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 34. When special occasions come around, it feels strange not to buy a gift for him. I really struggled to find something I could do. Then I thought of my rock painting (I bring a rock back from all of my trips, paint a design/picture on them (eg. I painted a sea turtle on my rock from Hawaii), and then place them in a glass vase with the rest of my collection. So now, for every birthday, Christmas, and anniversary of his death, I paint a rock and place it at his grave site. He died in the month of January...searching for rocks in Michigan in January can often be a fruitless endeavor. These rocks are the perfect size, and this summer girl is grateful not to be digging around in snow any longer. The only improvement I would suggest would be the packaging. A sturdier box is a must...or no box at all. It was more difficult to pick up the box from my front step then it would have been if they had shipped the rocks in their bag without a box.

I still think they look nice and will try to use them for a succulent ...
I got these stones to top off some fake plant planters that are holding solar lights to give them a more polished and natural look. I would say the stones vary in sizes from 1" to about 2.5" I was able to fill the small slots in between the branches so there are definitely enough of the smaller ones in there. They have some sort of white chalk type residue on them to make them look whiter than they are which washes away in the rain. Keep that in mind if you're buying to use them outside. I still think they look nice and will try to use them for a succulent composition.

Not As Represented and NOT White Beach Pebbles
This is a major waste of money. These are not pebbles but common beach rocks. The rocks are covered in a fine white powder that once washed off, reflect the actual grey and beige tones.....far from white. Size ranges between 1/2" and 8" (yes that is right, there are 5 4-8" rocks in the bag). Most are potato or irregularly shaped, some have holes. What these rocks ARE is a culled version of the inexpensive big box store landscape rocks (found in the outdoor garden area) that were repackaged and misrepresented to yield a high price. I generously gave 2 stars as they ARE rocks and will work as planter anchors and/or as moisture locks in my side yard. I cannot recommend nor will I purchase more to complete my MCM landscape. The photographs are against dark background to show how they blend in with brown tones then against black and white which better reflect just how beige these rocks are. So disappointing that yet another company scammed me.UPDATE: EXACTLY the same bag, size and brand sold at the big box home improvement stores in the garden supply department for $12 less. Retail price on a 30 lb bag is $11.99. Amazon seller buying at these stores then doubling the price by advertising pure white flat "pebbles" What a joke!

Perfect rocks to paint
I am very happy with this purchase. The rocks were as described. I use these rocks for painting Mandela stones. They came in a variety of sizes and are smooth. I took them out of their package and washed them. I didn’t weigh the package, but it’s definitely 30lbs nor did I count the rocks, their are plenty! I usually go to mason yard to purchase and hand pick my rocks, but with the current pandemic, I didn’t want to do that. This was a great alternative. Only down fall, a few rocks broke in shipping, but only a handful.

Pretty and useful
I’ve put this in a container that is holding two rosemary plants. They look really pretty and I pour water in the container to make sure it stays humid around the rosemary. This system has been fantastic and the rosemary is doing really well! The only downside is that I felt bad for the UPS driver. The box was heavy! 😳

... that about 18-20lbs or more are going to be pretty small. Almost too small to paint and hide
Plenty of different size rocks but I think I'm going to find that about 18-20lbs or more are going to be pretty small. Almost too small to paint and hide. But so far I've found plenty to keep me busy. I just wish there were more of the mid-size in there instead of so many 3/4" to 1". I expected more of the appx 2".

Nice, smooth rocks but none flat enough for pendants
First off, let me clarify that these are nice, smooth rocks. They just aren't what I was hoping for in that I took a chance on at least some of them being flat and thin enough to paint for pendants. None are. They are nice paintable stones, but just don't buy them for flat, thin jewelry; they are too rounded. Consequently, they won't work for me so I was disappointed. But as I said, I took a chance. My disappointment could have been completely avoided if the seller's photos presented a side-view with a reference (ie. coin or something) indicating thickness, so that is my suggestion.
