Great story
This is the first of the series. Cute story line. Once again a stubborn man has met his match.

This one had me chuckling along , because it was so cute! Let's of fun watching them fight the attraction, and the Aunt, fabulous!
Richard and Melanie are a blast. He is so serious, and she is so easy, but she can switch on a dime, and call him on things! She is awesome! I just kept laughing along! I really enjoyed the tale!

Enjoyable, predictable romance novel
I enjoyed this book, as I do most of Sherryl Woods' books that I have read. I LOVE her Chesapeake Shores series, and I would say that this one does not quite live up to that standard, but it was still an enjoyable romantic book to read. It is the first in a series of books about 3 brothers, so I am looking forward to the next two books, as there were hints in this first installment about what is to come for the other two.

Unintentionally funny
Unintentionally funny for its portrayal of the very rich (the guy wears a Rolex??? LOL I am a Rolex fan but it is middle-class), this book reads like a novel version of a Hallmark rom-com. The situational humor doesn't really work on the printed page; but it's a fun diversion from serious fiction. It needs to be judged by the standards of similar types of books.

Old Story Great Read
Richard and Melanie was a good story, a good take on a old theme. The pretend engagement, but at least this time it wasn't for money or a job. Giving Aunt Destiny a taste of her own medicine. I enjoyed and will read the next story.

Excellent story line
I enjoyed Richard and Melanie in their quest to fool everyone about their relationship, and getting caught up in the snare of true love in the process. Aunt Destiny is a character of a woman. I liked her busybody way of helping. Great book Sherryl!
