Agitation feature a major selling point
I have had mine for over one year and just bought a second one today. I have a non-agitator sprayer I also bought last year and was using it today with a copper and dormant spray. It was working so poorly, I decided to use my Ag Spray tank with agitation instead. It was amazing. I was able to spray the other half of my orchard with only 1/4 of a tank because the spray was both fine and covered well but with such force that it sprayed about 15 feet (further with less fine setting). The other wasted much of my spray because it was unable to put out a fine spray and only for a short distance. Very time consuming as I had to get off my cart to get close enough reach my trees. In comparing the two pumps, the Ag Sprayer pump was about twice as big, plus the unit comes with a pressure gauge. It usually reads about 100psi, so no wonder it really puts out a forceful spray. When I poured the dormant spray/copper solution from the other sprayer into the Ag Sprayer, I noted the bottom part was very thick and not well mixed, even though I stuck a hose into the tank when I first filled it. Since the Ag Sprayer has an agitator, no problem. The only odd thing about the Ag Sprayer is that the pump pulses about once every 1/2 second and so sometimes the spray distance will vary slightly during that pulse, but only perhaps about 10%. While I'm using it in the orchard, I don't notice it, only when I'm cleaning it later because I'm holding the wand still. The agitator works great. Last year I used suspended clay to cover my trees to protect them from Codling moths. When I turned the agitator up to get relatively vigorous mixing, I noted the pressure dropped to about 50psi. Still very good coverage with forceful fine spray, but somewhat reduced distance. Not significant enough to bother me, as instead of 15 feet, it was perhaps 12 feet and covered the trees well. So, I went ahead and bought a second one so I can use it for more general purposes, even though it was about $100 more than my non-agitator sprayer. However the extra power today saved me 50% in my time spraying, so well worth it given how many time I have to spray my trees.

Works great, have used it 4 times now
Works great, have used it 4 times now, always ready to go. We spray weed killer on our fence lines and pastures, The distance that the gun sprays is an asset to the product, with the hose that lets us get is places that we would have to cut brush and weeds to get to. Randy Blake
