EZ Access Rubber Portable Threshold Ramp - 1 1/2" Rise 14" Deep 36" Wide

My husband is in a mobility chair and this works great for him to ride onto our deck.

My apartment patio has a 1.5" 'lip' and my mobility scooter didn't much like going up over it; I had to be exactly lined up with the gate, which is a bit narrow, and then take a 'run' at the little curb/lip to be able to park the scooter. This required a lot of back & forth sometimes, and since the scooter has an annoying little beeper whenever it backs up, there was a tendency to annoy my neighbors. Not to mention that it wasn't good for the scooter to be hitting that bump all the time.The ramp has ended all that. It was a little too long for the gate opening, but was easy to cut with a carpet knife/box cutter. I can easily put it in place when needed, then pick it up and put inside the gate for safekeeping when not in use.

This ramp was not the quality that we expected.

Well made, heavy duty rubber. Shipped timely and installs easily. Just lay it down in front of the door. With this one on the inside and a thicker 2 1/2 inch one on the outside my father in law drove his chair easily out onto the front porch without high centering his chair. He loves to sit on the porch in the summer time and some days he just isn't able to do so with just his cane. This product makes it possible for him to go outside with his chair anytime he wants, whether he feels able to walk or not.

I am wheelchair bound and use this as the threshold ramp for our front door. It works perfectly and the weight is substantial enough so that it doesn't slip or slide on the tile floor. Works Great!! Thanks!
