What's better than a Kong stuffed full of treats? Why, a Kong stuffed full of Kong-shaped peanut butter snaps, of course. Designed especially for filling Kong toys, these tasty, all-natural treats share the same distinctive beehive shape. They fit snugly inside a Kong's hollow center, where dogs can entertain themselves for hours digging out every savory morsel. Use them by themselves for an especially compelling training reward, or save them to stuff Kongs for a special treat when you'll be away. This size is recommended for use inside medium or large Kongs. --Mary Park

Designed for the Kong - Shape and ridges are the key features
Here's the point of these. The ridges and shape are designed for the classic kong (
KONG Classic Dog Toy, Large, Red
). It has the right shape to get it in - narrow on one end and wider on the other. The ridges make it harder to get out. It's better than your typical milk bones in terms of the challenge of getting them out.Other treats seem easier for my dogs to get out which translates into less relaxation time for me. I use these with a few squirts of the kong paste
KONG Stuff'N Easy Treat, 8-Ounce, Peanut Butter
) and I get to have some me time while my young pups feverishly try to release the treats from the dark cavern of the kong.Sure, they cost a little more but you're paying for innovation.... and peace time.

Long lasting snack!
My dog loves this!. With this snack, it lasts a long time in the Kong. First time I learned the hard way by putting the snack in first and after almost 2 hours of her trying to get it out, she brought it to me for help. I noticed that it got softer...almost like a baby biscuit that gets softer after sucking on it.... I broke the biscuit up for her with a plastic knife and she got the rest out. After that I made sure to put the Kong snack towards the end of the Kong toy.I've noticed that some people were having a hard time getting this snack in the Kong. Just take the Kong toy and flatten it with your hand against the table or counter and put the snack in :)

These treats inside a rubber KONG make the best and most durable chewing toy we have found. See pictures:
The KONG rubber toy is hands down the toughest dog chew toy we have found; and trust me, we have gone through many....just check out some of my prior dog toy reviews for photographic proof of Shelby's prodigious toy-destroying abilities. Shelby is our 55lb power chewing black lab and the KONGs are the only chew toys or treat holder that she has not destroyed in most a horrific and eviscerating manner. We have purchased the red KONG and the black KONG in the large size (
KONG Extreme Large
); the red one was fine until she reached full size then the black one had to be purchased because the black KONG's rubber is a bit stronger and more dense. We generally will buy these KONG treats and give our dog one inside a KONG every day or two. Initially a KONG stuffed with one of these treats would occupy about an hour's worth of chew time, which was especially good while puppy training since it was the KONG being chewed and not my shoes or furniture legs. She has since gotten very adept at getting the KONG treat out by vice-gripping the entire KONG with her powerful jaws and crushing the treat within so the pieces can fall out of the bottom hole. It now takes ol' Shel about ten minutes to get the treat out but she still enjoys them immensely. These treats have decent ingredients and do not make a mess. One caveat, the peanut butter ones can be an allergy issue for family members and visitors because they will get carried around the house by the dog...we stick with the liver ones and bacon ones for that reason.I attached a picture of Shelby going to town on a large sized KONG Extreme stuffed with a KONG treat for size reference. Good luck.

My dog likes these treats, but I got these ...
My dog likes these treats, but I got these to put inside of the Kong to encourage my pup to chew on it. I put one in as directed by the instructions. He chews off the top part and the rest rattles around inside the Kong and becomes impossible for him to get out. My understanding was that dogs would chew on the Kong, which would cause the treat to break and fall out. Your dog would need the bite strength of a crocodile to do that.

Nothing special
Overpriced for treats that don't fit Kongs any better than other dog biscuits/treats. I thought that because this was designed specifically for Kong that it would fit better than other generic biscuits. On the plus side my Golden likes eating them, but then again he will eat everything (except his Comfortis flea medicine)!

My dog loves these!
My 18 month old golden retriever loves these treats so much that I buy them in both bacon/cheese & peanut butter flavors. He has to have one after his morning and afternoon meals, and when we leave him for long periods of time. Even though he has learned how to get them out of the Kong, I still put them in there at least for a little bit of a challenge. Purchasing from Amazon is almost half of what it costs at the pet store, and considering I have to always have some in stock, it saves me a great deal of money.

Daisy The Westie approved
They are a good fit into the kong. And daisy (westie) loves the taste of them. We use the kong and this as a distraction treat when we are busy (cleaning, cooking etc). Putting a small high value treat in the kong and using this as a stopper works very well. For those having trouble making them fit, it's meant to be a hard squeeze. Squish the kong with one hand so its opening becomes an oval. Push the treat in small end first with the other hand and release the kong. Your dog needs to lick at the treat to soften it so they can break it up and get it out. When they get the hang of it they will love it.

Tasty? but expensive!
My dog likes them (but in fairness she will eat virtually anything).Described as "large" (approximately 50 x 35 x 8 mm) I can only assume the large refers to the KONG they are intended for as there is no way the treat can be described as large (without violating the trades description act). They are, however, ridiculously expensive!! The pack contains 38 of the treats plus an abundance of crumbs so that works out at £0.14 per treat. They may be quality treats - but definitely over priced! Undoubtedly my dog will enjoy these but I will NOT be re-ordering.

Disappointed as softer than they used to be!
Not bought these for a while but was disappointed in them as they're softer than they used to be, several were broken in the bag already because the outer box which used to stop this has now disappeared! Another two disintegrated when I tried to put them in the Kong because they had an air bubble in the middle of them, my finger just sunk into them! Will have to see what happens to the rest.I've since found an old unopened box of them in the back of the cupboard, they are much harder, thicker and still perfect despite being two years out of date, the dogs aren't bothered by dates!Such a shame, will have to go back to thick carrot sticks with a splodge of peanut butter to seal the small treats inside.I'm assuming the dogs like the flavour lol, I didn't try them myself.
