Seems well made, sturdy. Good quality. I have no way of testing the surge protection feature, so I’ll have to rely on the GE brand name.

Very sleek and the blue light is a nice touch

I just purchased my third and fourth units intending to use them in two of our bedrooms. Sadly, the outlets in the rooms are setup to have one side switched. You flip the light switch elsewhere in the room and whatever is plugged into that side of the outlet goes on or off. This Tap has only one plug, and given the orientation of the prongs, the outlets will be switched in our rooms. Given that we wanted to use the USB taps for overnight charging, we were faced with the reality that we would need to give up the wall switch that control our bedside lamps. Even if the Tap would have been oriented to make use of the non-switched outlet, we'd be in the same boat. So, we now have two taps that we'll have to find another use for.Also, some of the outlets in our house don't have the screw in the center of the outlet. It those instances, we can't screw these units into the wall plug. Lastly, if you're concerned about the output amperage delivered by the USB ports, check the literature/packaging that the Taps come in. You won't be able to find that information on the actual Tap. We plug both Apple and Android phones into ours and have had no problems but I know that the two systems have slightly different power input requirements for their USB charging.If the limitations above aren't deal breakers, you should be happy with this GE Surge Protector Tap

I like how it is not too bulky so it kind of blend in to the wall. The two usb ports are great to have, so it doesnt need an extra plug to charge the phone in the kitchen.

This product adds flair to a room with the nightlite signaling that devices are protected, and with the 3 outlets and 2 USB ports. This package was missing the screw to the outlet but other packages I have bought had the screw (not a huge deal as I went out and bought the screw I needed). This is a quality product that has improved the look and feel of my home. I am giving it 5 stars as I assume the missing screw was an anomaly, based on my repeated purchases of this product.

A great space saver. Also it saves having to buy new phone chargers, USB cables are much less expensive to buy.The only negative is the blue nightlight feature is bright. If it's not in a bedroom then this will likely not be a problem, but for some people it's going to be too bright at night (in a bedroom).This comes with its own screw and simply installs in place of the screw that holds on your existing outlet plate. You can keep or remove your outlet plate I suppose, but I kept mine in place. Just keep the original screw in case you move this to another location later.

Works great. USB plug ins save space. I only wish they were on the top for easier access.

Gaste miles de pesos en cargadores porque segun yo se descomponian cuando lo que no funcionaban eran las cajas, con este conector con USB eh usado cargadores o aparatos que ya daba por muertos y vuelve a cargar rapidamente.

Muy buena opción para ampliar la capacidad de conexión de varios aparatos y para carga rápida de celulares y tablets. Incluye una luz led azul para indicar que está protegiendo lo que está conectado, puede ser un poco molesta en la noche pero es un muy buen producto.
