as expected for this price
As noted by other reviewers, the straightedge is not "level", but it's simple enough to mark the spots that aren't correct and just work with that. But for the price, it's a great set of tools. Be sure to have a piece of paper towel handy to remove the excess oil from the feeler gauge set.

You know what they say………..
…..about getting what you paid for? Well, this kit is slightly better than that so it’s a good value. That said, the neck ruler is literally half junk. The side for 25 1/2” scale guitars (Fendser, etc.) is good but the other side is useless. A clear gap is visible half-way along that side when placed on a flat surface, I guess .032” or more, which renders it useless for measuring a neck’s flatness. The fret rocker is useful, the neck radius gages are ‘close enough’, and the feeler gages sometimes have a slight stamping burr that requires awareness so that you don’t get false measurements, which sometimes isn’t possible at all. Given that the one side of the neck flatness ruler is good well, Stew Mac’s similar piece is four times the price of this whole kit so you do get more utility for your dollar with it, but you must still be careful using it ‘as is’. It’s ok for a home hobbyist who uses it occasionally and with attendant awareness and care, but no pro guitar tech would be caught dead using this stuff.

Tools work well
I don't know how the flatness of the straightedge compares with more expensive tools (I don't have a way of comparing it), but seems to work well. Feeler gauges are oiled (which isn't good) but I wipe them off before using. Tools seem to work well for what I need. If you plan to use these type tools all the time, I would suggest getting a better set of tools (Nomad or Stewmac).

Not flat, not a good tool
The media could not be loaded. Ruler is not flat as described, the tool needs to be completely flat to measure well the instrument, it has a huge gap on both sides. Very disappointed. I don't recommend this even for a beginner. Tries in many flat surfaces and the same result.

Warning - Razor sharp edges!
Be careful handling these tools! The edges are extremely sharp. I recomend wearing quality gloves and also recommend doing something to dull the sharp edges in such a way as to reduce the sharpness yet maintain the accuracy.

Very sharp edges
Save your money. Spend more for quality tools.Straightedge: Bowed at centre, very sharp edges.Fret rocker: Not bad but sharp edges.Radius gauge: Very thin and sharp.Feeler gauge: Not too bad, just needs a wipe to take off oil.
