This light fixture is really nice. The grey metal color is nice and the look is perfect for our kitchen. The mirrors on the underside do a nice job of reflecting the light. You will not be disappointed with this light. The weighted ball is about 5 pounds so you have to attach it to the ceiling properly. I liked that I could adjust the cord (which is a nice nylon cord and not rubber) by feeding it into the housing to make it the correct length. The pulley is a working pulley that actually allows me to fine tune the height by raising or lowering it. Very cool...The picture I took makes it almost look black, but it is more of a gun metal grey. I highly recommend this light.

Beautiful, well made and a perfect slightly steampunk accent. Installation is no problem if you already have a junction box and have installed fixtures before, but a novice might have a little difficulty. The instruction sheet illustration was faintly printed in VERY small type and the parts were labeled in ROMAN numerals. You also will need a helper to hold the ballast ball as it weighs about five pounds. These are quibbles, however. The fixture itself is beautiful with a soft, matte gun-metal grey finish. The reflector hood helps diffuse the light from the (max 60-watt) Edison-style bulb. Do not expect this fixture to illuminate an entire room--it is more of an accent light, perfect over a bar or a table where the the light can be raised or lowered by the pulley.

Great quality and unique. Perfect for our farm house. I would give 5 stars if not for the poor amount of light put off, not nearly enough for our small dinning room. We will need to buy lamps to get enough light in there.

This light is awesome! Very stylish and looks even more impressive in person than in the picture!

Product showed up broken and did not have any light bulbs as advertised. Don't buy!
