Bought this trying to find a vegan and cruelty-free dupe for Tatcha's rice wash to save some money. I'm very happy! It's not an exact duplicate by any means; it's definitely less foamy and less scrubby (Tatcha's feels like it has more small rice particles and these feel bigger) but I do feel this cleans really well and is less than half of the cost.My face feels very soft and clean after, and I feel like the texture and moisture of my skin has improved. Very mild neutral scent and I really appreciate that this brand is cruelty-free and vegan! If you're wearing a lot of eye-makeup or heavy foundation, I'd suggest double cleansing by using an oil cleanser first, then this one.

This was my first time trying this cleanser and I was impressed. It felt gentle and made my skin feel clean, but not stripped or tight. I will purchase again and highly recommend!

The product has little to no scent which is a positive thing. The texture is like a light-ish lotion with small exfoliating granules. There are not a lot of them. It is not like a scrub. I am 49 and have sensitive skin. I gave this product and the moisturizing lotion/gel, from the same line, to my 23 year old daughter. SHE LOVES IT AND THE MOISTURIZER IN THE BLUE JAR.

I wanted to try a new skincare, and saw one of the makeup artists that I follow using it. So I thought- why not? It’s affordable and worth a shot. I’m glad I did. I pair this with the gel/oil cleanser and do 2 washes. Start with the gel/oil to get your makeup etc off, and follow up with this one. A little goes a long way, and I love the scrub in it. It gently exfoliates, and rinsing it off is very easy too. Sometimes scrubs can leave some grit behind, and this does not. I have crazy sensitive skin and break out from anything and everything…this is not the case. My skin has been happy, and glowing…especially with the winter air! Give it a shot, it’s worth it!!

If you got this as a tatcha dupe you will be thoroughly disappointed. Unfortunately I was “influenced” into buying this and it doesn’t hold a candle to the tatcha. It’s super gritty so too much for everyday use and it smells awful. Will use but will not repurchase.

I saw someone on reddit say this is a dupe for the Tatcha rice enzyme face wash that is a holy grail for many people. I have only used a small sample of the Tatcha stuff so I can't say I am an expert in the area, but I will say this seems VERY similar and works great. If you are looking for a budget alternative to the ultra-pricey name brand stuff, give this a try.I rotate out my cleansers based on the situation so I only use this a few times a week at most, opting for a cream cleanser from another brand most days. But this is my go-to physical exfoliant face wash now (I also have a chemical exfoliant AHA one that I rotate through). My skin can be sensitive to physical exfoliants but this one has caused no issues for me.
