WoodStone Vulcanite Stems... an excellent quick fix for a broken pipe
WoodStone Pipes Vulcanite Stems... come three to a package, and are made from good vulcanite. I had dropped an old pipe and broken off the stem. This trio arrived with the little "Peg" metal filters installed, and I pulled the peg from the mouthpiece. There is a smallish round hole at the bit, big enough for a pipe cleaner. After pulling the peg, the "draw" was very good. After a half-hour of scrapping and sanding, I was able to fit the stem into the tenion; and put an "Old Friend" back in my mouth. I am very happy with this economical pipe fix.

MacGuyvering required.
The measurements on this thing were misleading. I bought these to replace a stem that broke on a pipe I purchased some time ago and they are too small! With some Jerry-rigging and MacGuyvering I will make them work, but I am nonetheless a little disappointed. They have a nice mouth feel though and don't look cheap. Despite size problems, I am ok with this purchase.

Extremely small. I'm not sure what pipes these fit, but they certainly don't fit any of mine. The quality appears adequate but not exemplary, so I'm giving three stars as an unused and unusable product, which probably fits some person's needs to a T.

Product was not vulcanite not ebonite, just black plastic. But it works, so I'll use it until I can locate what I want.
