Sullivans506 ORMD Quilt Basting Spray, 7 Ounce

I always use this brand. I ran out of my other one and had this on hand ready to go and it won’t adhere at all. Very disappointed as i am now out of the window for a return...

Works well but has a HORRIBLE smell!! Your quilt will smell AWFUL! Will not be using this again!

The description said it was 11 ounces. When the can arrived it says 7 ounces. Old can had 14 ounces if I am correct.

Really holds the quilt sandwich to Quilt by hand or machine.

I am very pleased with the product. It seems to do just what it says it will do.

Product preformed exactly as I wanted it to.

I thought I was getting a bigger can but it works fine.

I normally use the 505 Basting but thought I'd try another brand. DON'T DO IT. I'm having the worst time trying to Free Motion Quilt a small, 36" x 48", quilt. The thread kept breaking, broke a couple of needles. So I stopped, cleaned the machine rethreaded and checked the bobbin case. SAME RESULTS. Finally after a couple of hours of this I changed machines. SAME ISSUES. Both machines sew fine on my practice pads NOT sprayed with this product. Today I had quilters in to sew. EACH of them tried to FMQ on their machines. SAME RESULTS. Now, if five (5) experienced quilters have the same issue. It's the product, as THIS was the only common factor to all of us. We all tried the practice pad sprayed with the 505 and we were all able to quilt just fine. Never again. Lesson Learned.
