Milkboy Swiss Chocolates Snack Bar (3.5 Ounce (Pack of 5))

I am enjoying immensely the package of pine tree flavored dark chocolate I received last week. We bought one bar a year ago in a Swiss imports shop in the little Swiss village of New Glarus, Wisconsin, and haven't been able to find any since then, so when my children gave me an Amazon gift card for my birthday, I decided to purchase a pack of five, and don't regret it!

Amazing! So smooth and balanced, and the pine oil adds a refreshing dimension to the overall flavor profile. Milkboy is my favorite dark chocolate.

The flavor of the dark chocolate was overpowering and very bitter. I wish I had bought milk chocolate

This chocolate is dairy free, delicious and not bitter, absolutely superb.

the pine tree oil is interesting-perhaps not for everyone, but I love it! Tastes the way a christmas tree smells. only 60% cocoa, so it's not too dark. Any darker and the bitterness would probably overpower the delicate pine tree essence. It usually takes me a month to finish a chocolate bar, (just a small piece every night for dessert) But I finished this one in a week. Delicious.

Milkboy gives us an unusual flavor combination. The rich, dark chocolate is blended with pine tree oil. Not one's first expectation of tastes, this works surprisingly well. The terpenoid nose of the pine interfaces with the bitter tannins of the dark chocolate to give a complex set of overtones. Although not a chocolate that I would eat in bulk, one or two squares delivers a satisfying dose of alpine orested chocolate
