My daughter (8) wanted an alarm clock like the ones she always saw in picture books. We had to wait until she was old enough that her total time in bed was less than twelve hours, because clocks made without an AM/PM like this one make setting a wake-up alarm problematic. But. Now that she’s waking up at 7:30a and going to sleep at 8:30p, we bought her this cute pink alarm clock. She loves the way it looks and can read it just fine. Turns out the classic mechanical bell alarm is too much for her, so she won’t use it. It’s not particularly awful: it’s exactly what you’d expect from a tiny metal hammer striking two metal bells at rapid speed! I love that it doesn’t tick—there’s the tiniest metallic noise, but it’s smooth, so it doesn’t inhibit falling asleep. It also has a button to turn on a tiny backlight to read the time at night, which only stays on while you press it, which is great because my kid can’t burn out the batteries by leaving the light on. So, it’s great, but the alarm is pretty intense. Oh and the user manual promises the alarm will be accurate plus or minus five minutes, which might be fine if you’re homeschooled, but might be aggravating in some situations. I think this would be perfect for a guest bedroom.

Super ... j’adore ... remplace mon vieux réveil qui s’arretait ...La seule chose dommage c’est Qu’il soit à pile. J’airais vraiment préféré un réveil à l’ancienne mais je le savais quand je l’ai commandé ... sinon il est parfait et ponctuel 😜
