This teapot was hand thrown on my pottery wheel in a round shape. Then I added the hand formed handle and spout. I faceted all the sections of the teapot and separate lid, to give it the appearance of a three dimensional geometric shape. It is fully glazed in a dark sage green. Alternating facets were also painted with a blue wash for added depth of color. Liquid volume = 1quart / 4 cups / 32 ounces. Hand wash. Not for use on stovetop. Intended for steeping tea, not for heating water.
