Taste disgusting

Va-Va Ajvar is cooked in a way that brings out the natural sweetness of eggplant and red peppers. However, the taste is not the best, but one of the best. This is creamy, rich, and savory like a side item. I bought this in a middle eastern market while in another city. I didn't expect to like it this much. I'm glad I found this brand on Amazon. They also have it in some stores, on the ethnic market shelves.

The item was sold past its due date. The expiration date was written in European nomenclature, which puts the day first and month second. The food was rancid.

This is not vinegar-y like a pickle or condiment, which is good when you want it but there are plenty of pickle concoctions out there. This is creamy, rich, and savory like a side item. I bought this in a middle eastern market while in another city. I didn't expect to like it this much. I haven't found this brand on the ethnic market shelves where I live and didn't want to buy it online but... Amazon has it. I cook just about anything, any cuisine, and cook very well but the quality of preparation in this eggplant makes it one of the few dishes I'll buy already made.

Product contains vinegar and wasn't listed as ingredient in the advertisement. 4 stars because they made it right and refunded my money since I'm not able to eat vinegar.

excellent taste. great substitute for tomato sauce/paste in many recipes. Made wonderful meatloaf. Really glad to find a product to substitute for tomatoes which I can no longer eat.
