UPDATED Review to my "Tastes Rancid"
UPDATE: Having reached out to Mary Ruth's, they are sending me a new bottle to try. What great customer service! I have changed my 2 star rating to a 5 star rating because of their customer service.I bought this a little over a year ago when I bought the liposomal Vit C from Mary Ruth's (which I love, by the way) I already had a bottle of liquid ionic Zinc which I was currently using and had not finished. I felt a twinge of something coming on last night so I opened my stored away, but new bottle of Mary Ruth's blueberry zinc. I noticed the sealed top was a bit puffed up, but thought it would be ok. The first thing I did was smell it, based on my slight concern with the puffy seal and it smelled rancid. Crazy me decided to taste it and bleh... definitely rancid. The expiration date was still good but obviously something is not right with it. Bad batch, perhaps? I love Mary Ruth's products, so I gave it 2 stars based on the companies credibility. Would love to try it again, but don't want to experience another rancid bottle. Conundrum.

Mary Ruth Zinc Supplement
I’ve been taking the Mary Ruth Zinc supplement for a few months now, and it’s quickly become a staple in my daily wellness routine. Here’s what I love about it:Quality & Ingredients:The formula uses zinc gluconate, which is gentle on my stomach and easy to absorb. I also appreciate that it’s a clean, vegan product, free from common allergens, GMOs, and artificial additives. With so many supplements on the market, it’s reassuring to know I’m getting a high-quality product.Effectiveness:Since I started taking Mary Ruth Zinc, I’ve noticed a boost in my immune system, especially during cold and flu season. I also find it helps with skin clarity and supports quicker healing when I get minor cuts or scratches. It’s been an easy, effective way to get my daily dose of zinc.Taste & Ease of Use:This is a liquid supplement, which I prefer over pills. The dropper makes it easy to measure, and the taste is mild compared to other liquid zinc products I’ve tried. I just add a few drops to water or juice in the morning, and I’m good to go.Overall:Mary Ruth Zinc is a great addition for anyone looking to support immune health, skin wellness, or general vitality. It’s well-formulated, easy to take, and effective. I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for a trustworthy, high-quality zinc supplement!

Seed oils?!?! Come on
Very irritated that it has sunflower seed oil in it. I'm trying to lower inflammation here...Taste is whatever, I mixed it with water in a shot glass and down it that way so no complaints there. Will not be buying again thanks to the seed oils in it.

Flavor lacks, but effects are great!
So I gotta say, not a huge fan of the taste of this product. I wanted to like it so badly, but to me it is reminiscent of olive oil or mayonnaise. Not super surprising because it's a liposomal, but still off putting. I mix it with water, the MaryRuth Vitamin D liposomal that is mixed berry flavor (that one tastes SO GOOD), plus flavored greens powder and ACV, so while the weird oily tasting blueberry is there, it's not over powering. When I'm finished with this version, I'm going to switch to the zinc drops that are Strawberry lemon Flavored and hope that works out better for my taste buds. But zinc is so important and recommended by doctors to help your immune system function best so flavor or not, I'm taking it!!

Love the flavor!
I literally shoot this stuff right into my mouth it's so tasty. Too early to tell if it's doing much for my body so update definitely to come! But definitely doesn't taste nasty! In fact, I love the taste. Mixed with water and magnesium powder and it's a tasty bedtime drink.

False Advertising
I bought this product because I wanted to take zinc in liquid form. I got this because I thought it was gluten-free based on the title of product. Once I got the bottle, I did not see gluten-free on it. I let my mom keep it, since I was not willing to take a chance of having an allergic reaction from gluten. My mom said the taste reminded her of cod liver oil she used to take as a child. I won't be buying this product again.
