Great product for a decent price (and holds up well)
**Update**Its been 3.5 years since I first purchased this and I'm still impressed with this. While the "grass" hasn't worn well and is pretty much all matted down, the fact that it provides a barrier to what would be a mud track is perfect. Its still green and the only damage is where one of the dogs managed to tear it a bit. Otherwise this is still doing its job.Sadly, I'm down to one dog now so since this won't be getting the traffic it used to, I'm planning on replacing this with new rugs. I'll be getting this same one and the old I'll split long ways and those pieces will be in the garden now to help keep grass down between the beds. I don't doubt ill be getting another 3-5 years of use out of them. :)**Original post**I purchased one of these the first of September '17 and a few weeks later, purchased another. We had a deck built and needed to cover about a 5 foot wide section beside it. This area is heavily trafficked by two big dogs (one about 70lbs, the other about 100lbs) who run and jump off the deck. During construction, this area got trampled by the workers and any semblance of grass was completely destroyed. To help avoid the mud track, I needed something that would cover that section without costing a fortune and that hopefully will last more than a year or so.I had to trim about a foot off which was a snap with heavy scissors. I purchased some 6" galvanized nails and washers that the head of the nails wouldn't go through. I'd planned on tacking the rugs down, three nails on each end and three across the center, but it holds so well, that I wound up doing a total of 10 for the two rugs (I overlapped them and used one nail combo to tack them both at once). They've been down now for six months and there's no sign of raveling, wear or anything. Other than being a bit dirty, they look just like they did. To clean them, I use the leaf vacuum to pick up the larger pieces, then just hose it down to wash the dirt off.I feed raw food to the dogs and one likes to have his supper on the rug. He also pees on it when he's too lazy to track out into the cold too far. Both of the dogs drag their toys over it, roughhouse on it and in general beat it up. If it's held up this well for six months, I have no doubt it'll keep going for many, many more.

Looks great, nice price!
We got this for our balcony to make it a little more like a back yard instead of a concrete slab. We love it! It’s really soft on bare feet. It’s really thin, not lush or realistic at all, but it still looks really nice and does the job. Our daughter loves it and wants to be out on the balcony ALL day. 😄 would definitely buy again once this one gets gross from being outside after a while.

Looks great but after 2 years it became thread bare
Looks great but after 2 years it became thread bare.. got no foot traffic just fell apart in the sun. Buying again. $50 bucks for 2 years I guess is ok for cheap grass.

Very cheap - go with the premium
I ordered this because I needed the 4 foot length but after seeing it, went right back online and ordered the longer Pet Zen Premium (PZG) and will cut it down to size. I had no idea that there was that much different between this and PZG's premium pet grass, but the look and feel is completely different. It's thin, feels like plastic and looks like cheap astro turf carpet. I use it in a reptile tank, so it has to look and feel natural. Skip this and look at the Pet Zen Premium. It's worth the couple extra dollars it might cost and your pet will thank you.

Great product
Hello. This is my 3rd or 4th order for this product. I needed to create a pet potty because i have run into coyotes in my neighborhood early early in the mornings and it is not ideal. I love this item because it is cheap and easy to use as my patio pet potty. I have a fairly large patio so I lay it out, And it stays put. My dogs (2 small) run out to do their business and run back in. I remove the solids and rinse off the piddle into a drain located near the fake lawn so that is why this product works for me. I would not recommend this concept unless you have a good drain. The above photo was the first time i purchased.Disclaimer. I did NOT necessarily have to replace the fake lawns. I am just very particular about how it looks after frequent use and rain.

Perfect for my needs, but does not match item description
I bought this for my indoor dog potty patch, and it is exactly what I was looking for. However, it does not match the item description. When I ordered this, I settled for what was described and pictured as a long bladed rubber backed grass- something I already had and was looking for a lighter and easier to clean alternative. The photos of this grass must be angled perfectly to make the most of the tiny little blades of synthetic grass. The blades on this grass are less than 0.25 inches long- not 0.4 inches as advertised, and the backing is more of a fabric with the grass woven though- much like latch hooking crafts use a plastic grid to base the yarn pieces- possibly even flimsier than that- I was able to cut with with a normal pair of scissors. This actually works much better for my purpose, but I had wanted what they advertised I would be sorely disappointed.

Great outdoor rug/putting green mat
I bought this to make a small putting green in my back yard. It’s worked well so far. Just know it’s pretty thin. I was able to get everything out from under it because I didn’t want to pay for anything else to go under it and it still works well. If you’re looking to make a high end putting green or even an outdoor play spot I would recommend getting the rubber workout mats and putting them under the rug. Great size and it’s held up to California weather pretty well so far.

Great product with light maintenance
This was purchased as a "potty spot" for our dog during landscaping construction last May. It's now December and it has held up very well. Minimal fraying on the edges and the color has held up well. Keep in mind if this to be used as "pet spot" it needs to be hosed off daily! Though the rug does have drainage holes there are not enough to prevent urine from soaking into the material. However I found that a quick daily hose off and occasional light spray of white vinegar has kept the rug in like new condition. The nap is cut short and it is made of plastic so it's will never be confused as a natural lawn. With all consideration... at this price point the lawn alternative is well worth the buy.
